Ever feel like some things are just meant to be? That is exactly how Amelia and I felt after stumbling on this spot in the Adirondack Mountains of New York! We debated the days before on driving south and working towards Texas, but we are so thankful we decided to stay!

WOW!!! BAZINGA you captured the stunning autumn colors at pretty much their peak I’d say. That sunset was absolutely gooorgeous! We have a very similar camper to yours. Going to try and figure out how to mount our canoe just like the one you were in to the top to take with us everywhere we go. Almost everywhere we go is close to water so having a boat is a huge plus.

We live about 45 minutes from Fishcreek campground and have camped there many, many times over years. Did you have to drive to Fishcreek from your free camping spot? If you drive through Fishcreek you can get to another campground called Rollins Pond which is also beautiful. We feel so blessed to live and play in this part of the country. Enjoy the rest of your time in the Adirondacks!!

Great video, that was one of the most amazing sunsets I’ve ever seen, and the canoe segment was excellent, gorgeous fall colors on the water, made it magnificent. Hey guys being from the Northeast I've spent a lot of time in NY ( I'm not a Fan of NY city ) but upstate NY is Gods country. As a youngster I spent a lot of summers on the St. Lawrence river 1,000 islands ( I have a campsite this June up there ) I hope someday you guys get to check it out, Also Lake George is one of my quick get a ways. The Adirondack and finger lakes regions are heaven. Thank you so much for sharing this video. So glad you had a chance to rent a canoe on such a peaceful lake. May I suggest a tandem Kayak for your next adventure . Anyway enough of your time as always stay safe and healthy, till next time.
