Okay, I’m on the what…9th video (?), and I’m definitely going to be watching more. You are a WHOLE! VIBE! I love your energy and I am sooo glad I found your channel! I have a very similar hairline and my hair is also very fine. I had locks for 11 years and they started getting long and heavy and I was beginning to get concerned that it was going to be too heavy for hair like ours. At the same time, my baby girl was struggling with her confidence about her short hair. I don’t think she was hearing me because my hair was a good 25 inches-so, I started chopping them off! Let me just tell you! It was a labor of love because I DO! NOT! like doing hair. Everything you’ve said? The get up and go, pouting and attitude on wash days!? So me!!! So-three years later, here I am researching sisterlocks and you’ve solidified my decision to pull the trigger! I’m so excited! Alright! Off to watch you make up more songs and dance in the mirror! @@chic619 It’s very hard to break the habit. Take it one day at a time. Some days will be harder than others, but you will get there. My hair is fine soft with low density, so my sisterlocks can look sparse. I wear my hair in a high bun because think it looks nicer and my fine sisterlocks are less noticeable. They will thicken.

Amen! That’s the problem regardless of being loose natural or locked.... if you are unable to embrace the journey at every stage, go back to what makes you comfortable... No shade/No shame! Natural hair and certainly locs aren’t for everyone, especially if you want the mature look day one ☝🏾 lol 😂 I’m 8 years loose natural/big chop/TWA to bra strap length and love 💕 my journey. My hair is fine and low density and because of KZbinrs like you sharing your journey from day 1, I’m more inspired to take the leap! I’ve been considering sister locs or micro locs for over a year but haven’t committed yet. But leaning more and more to getting them. Thank you!

@@chic619 me too. Never been one to comb and style my hair everyday, so I’m loving this. Just get up, dampen them a little bit from being flattened to my head, shake, and I’m off! My scalp doesn’t itch and it’s not flaking like when I had perm or was a loose natural and was using a lot of products. This is the best choice and my hair is thanking me for it by flourishing.
