I was drunk walking through an open field listening to music last Saturday. I stumbled across this song on Spotify. I instantly stood still with the wind blowing all around me. My eyes started welling up with tears. I won't go into all the struggles I've had the past several years, but hearing this song really struck something deep inside me. It got me to think about finally forgiving myself and moving on. I'm feeling a little better the past few days. It may not mean much, but I just wanted to say thank you for making this wonderful piece of music. It's been a catalyst for me looking forward not back. Love always.

It really means a load to hear that, thank you. That's always the hope with music, that it finds the right person in the right place and time and catalyzes some change. Music is magic like that. Hope you're still feeling better mate. The past is just a memory in our heads. Now is all that there is.

This song will forever remind me of what used to be the largest radio telescope in the world 🇵🇷, which collapsed three years ago due to an earthquake. The fact that Contact was filmed there made it even more amazing besides its discoveries.

The build up and crescendo from 4:04 is truly beautiful. I was cooking food when it was playing, then stopped cooking and began boogieing around my kitchen. Such fantastic energy in this music.

I just watched Contact for the 2nd time a couple days ago. What are the odds I randomly come across this song with a quote in it from the movie... Btw if anyone reading this is in search of an equally brilliant movie, watch Arrival. Just be prepared to cry.
