One correction I would use Solid Dynamite over the High Yield bombs. The lingering Nature Damage I don't believe effects the bosses at all so you basically only get the 150-250 fire damage, and solid dynamite is actually on average way higher (213-287dmg) and they're cheaper.

Should probably make an honorable mention to enchanting as a solid profession. Enhance benefits from both the 20 spellpower and 20 attack power offered from the new sigil of innovation buff. I run this over engineering personally.

yep enchanting is pretty cool - especially if you do not need engineering and pair it with a main crafting profession like BS, LW, Tailoring etc.

hmm I think I might not have went over runes this phase, but can do a dps rotation/rune guide as there's quite some options in bracer slot (helm is obviously mental dexterity)

I dont believe RB/RB is good atm, either WF/RB for dps or RB/WF for tank (especially if you got cogmaster offhand)

Wouldn't it be better to usw epic fist weapon and an offhand with the same attack speed, to align your melee hits and use your flurry stacks more effecrive? There is a rare axe with the same speed. Just my 2 cents

I mean its a fair shout - Sickle Axe does look good, but still not sure its worth all that overall damage loss from cogmaster which is just insane. Might be grabbing Sickle axe to test as soon as I get fist weapon anyway (never)

Epic claw dropped an hour ago. Will test both, sim says double claw is a little but better. But i am testing claw and Axe. Will let u know the results

I just really feel like it’s worth it to use flame tongue on OH bc lava lash is legitimate damage . Having a slow weapon combined with DW spec giving 50% OH dmg , that scales w lava lash. So when you lava lash you’re getting an instant OH swing that is just as strong as your MH , buffed dmg by 125% from having FT on, and you get the FT weap effect on top of all that. 6 sec Cd w practically no mana used . It’s just so good . I promise it’s worth it I’m doing more ST with that for sure

idk if theres something i dont understand about auto attacks and abilities but EVERY time i hit lava lash or heroic strike or mangle or whatever, it ALWAYS starts auto attacking so i never understand the need for a macro to do that. someone pls explain

hey - that is right, using an ability that essentially "auto-attacks" should start your auto-attacking by default. I feel the startattack bit is more of a precaution. Also imagine you are out of mana OR lava lash/stormstrike is on CD - I'd still press those buttons to start autoattack, rather then relying on right-clicking my target. Hope this makes sense.

Great content! I just have a question about WF procs and dmg. I was in a raid with a fellow ENH shaman and while we had the same main hand and weapon buffs i had a bit better gear than him. All my dmg was better than his except WF PROCS. He procced so much WF on EVERY boss that he was ahead of me by far, by FAR like 100 dps. I had more hit than him. Did he maybe time his STORMSTRIKES better? Is this a thing? He also didnt have world buff and pots while i did.

hmm seems weird that with same gear one of you does so much more dmg compared to other. Only thing I can think of is pure Attack power - if he has a lot more than you, maybe thats why his WF procs just hit for more generally? Send logs from a fight if you got and we can take a deep dive and figure it out

Sounds rude but it’s crazy how lacking SoD is with polished thorough guides. Like most people who makes these guides are blue parsers and are skipping so many important parts of achieving a proper min maxed play style. That’s just kind of the classic community in general though I suppose

You mean mine or? I am not gonna lie rather new to all this, looking for tips how to improve for sure. Regarding parses none of mine are blue + added fact I've all done my own raids with random people (bar 1 or 2) and not really min-maxing in a guild quite yet.

For sure. I just lvled my first shaman, and ive yet to find a legit well made guide. My main is rogue, and there it is easy. The legendary Simonize who basically does everything for you!

Dont know if you necessarily need a coach mate - might be just that you are doing something wrong in rotation/talents that is severely reducing your damage maybe? Let me know what you feel you are not doing right, maybe character name to check/analyse logs as well and I can try assist further

Thanks for the video. Is the bar on your UI with flame shock, frost shock, lava lash, storm strike, sham rage, and blood rage a weak aura? If so, what is it called? Also, do you know a good addon or WA that lets you know when maelstrom weapon has reached 5 stacks? Thanks!

do you hate 2h? or why dont you even mention it? I only play enhance because of the 2h. To be fair i also play enhancer shaman in retail but i hate it to be forced into 1h. Could you please break down the exact numbers of 1h vs 2h? (if) when will it be viable to play 2h? what does blizz need to do so 2h enh becomes the default for every enh sham? love your vids, keep up the good work

2H is not viable right now. Dual wield is currently miles better.

hey - I do not "hate" 2 hand - in fact I love the playstyle, however it currently lacks a lot I feel. If you get epic 2hander + maybe epic belt and some good gear, it might be "fine", but Duel wielding just scales like crazy at the moment .. :( Hopefully they buff 2hand in future phases/this phase.

its a shame indeed that 2h lacks so much. I have some decent gear including the 2h belt and epic axe but still feel like i´m behind a dual wield sham with kinda bad weapons. Its just demotivating playing 2h right now@@ShockTherapy55

So sad to read this, seriously one of the main points of playing SoD for me was to see 2hand ehancer being somewhat valid one more time. Now it's here and it's again dual wield all the way like it has always been anyway.@@ShockTherapy55

so I feel RB/WF is probably best - the double RB does add to crazy attack power values, but especially if you got cogmaster offhand, windfury on it will do a lot of damage and threat is never an issue so ..

hey - ideally you want the slowest weapons in both hands - for Stormstrike/Lava lash damage as well as Windfury. You should still however be fine with a faster off-hand (since it is usually having Rockbitter on it), but I will aim to get 2.4 attack speed (or slower) weapons as soon as possible.
