As someone who inspected and tested concrete for years, it makes me so happy to see them use the vibrator to consolidate the concrete. It makes an enormous difference in the strength of the concrete and many people ignore that step. Well done to that crew.

Tom , your enthusiasm is very infectious. Great to see the building coming together in time for the cold wet winter. Hopefully "the girls" will enjoy their new accommodation. As you look towards reviewing the tractor fleet a couple of budget buy tractors with service history and model reliability even if they are older girls might get you past this expensive period and is one place you can make savings on a farm. One about 120 hours possibly with a loader and a main tractor 150 plus with front linkage and broad 600/650 profile rears and a understanding dealer of course. Sorry about my ramblings but it's your bloody enthusiasm mate gets me every time 👍👏

Fantastic video Tom. Great to see the gable end framework going up at last that sure fills a big hole, more concrete being poured and the pump and three phase electrics going in. Really excited for you and the Ginger Warrior. You mentioned in the last video you couldn't get the drain from the calf shed connected up to the main slurry channel because funds were running low. That's a pity, that hydraulic pick on the end of the digger would have cut through the concrete in no time, what we talking here 10 - 20 feet in length 2 feet wide and 6 - 10 inches deep? I guess when the pressure is off next spring / summer you can come back to do it. Hopefully this video will draw in some new subscribers and help fund new projects. What news if any regarding the BBC 3 Ireland show.🐄🐄🐄🚜🚜🚜

I lived just a few miles from the home of Vaughn Pump Company, makers of the worldwide famous “Chopper” pumps! The company has been experts in pumping manures and slurries in agriculture settings for decades! I don’t know if you are familiar with the brand, but they are very well known here in the Western United States. Lee cracking boys! The farm is looking better each episode.

The shed is looking incredible, and that slurry pump is a beast! Interesting viewpoint from Mark about using a concrete mixer and excavator bucket vs. pumper truck. Hard to believe that the former is as quick as the latter, but he does concrete for a living so he should know! Mark and his crew do a great job, and they not only make it look easy but look good too!

I think it was more about consistency than speed. The concrete had to be thinner in order to use the pump but it then took longer to dry.

Friend You need to make your rectangle cow crap reservoir like half 🌙 in the floor. Also every 2 meter one Blender mixer . Another solution is a helicoidal blender mixer in horizontal position next to the floor to help the pump Success!
