We are Manila! Gosh it feels so good to be here! Last time we missed so much in the likes of Makati and Metro Manila so we are super keen to see, do and EAT!
We start off in Mandeluyong area which is a super quirky and vibey area! We eat some delicious street food called Shumai before heading to TGC cafe for one of the most delicious ice lattes! (YUM!) after that we take the metro for the first time ever and it was pretty awesome! Then head to Glorietta 5 to do something really cool that we haven’t done before! After that we check out SM Mall which was absolutely huge! We now understand why they say malls in Manila are insane! ( in the best way of course) we had some really nice dinner to end off our day!

I could understand foreigners go straight to the islands or use Manila as their jumping point. Most of the tourists are from Europe, US, Australia and other first world countries. So they have all the best their big cities have. Their main purpose in visiting the country is to see the islands and relax with the nature around them. If they have more time to explore the country like the vloggers, then they give time to explore Manila and make contents esp. in BGC otherwise they move on and go to the next country

It is because that’s what they heard: dangerous, not worth your time, there is nothing there, be careful etc. These new generation of vloggers are showing us the other side of narrative. The vibe in the Makati central business district is really different. It's also stricter there when it comes to law enforcement. I'm glad you were able to explore the place. Btw, when referring to areas other than the City of Manila, we often say Metro Manila or just plain Metro 😊. If you want to do something different, try to check out the Corregidor Island historical day tour. It's just a short ferry ride from Manila Bay. In case you visit the Mall of Asia, try to drop by at Lakbay Museo at S'Maison for a short but entertaining glimpse of Philippine culture. You may also visit Fort Santiago, Manila Cathedral and San Agustin Church in Intramuros to learn more about the country's past. And while you are there, ride the calesa or horse-drawn carriage. Nearby is Rizal Park or Luneta where our national hero was shot. Better yet, get in touch with Old Manila Walks. They can bring you inside Malacanang Palace (the seat of power) and other interesting places. Take care!!!

Ei guys! Glad you're enjoying the Philippines! The MRT train ride is free until June 30. It's on the test phase after its rehabilitation. If you want free bus rides, you can take the EDSA Carousel. They're downstairs most if the MRT station and travels end to end of EDSA

You can cool-off at MOA. At the back, there's a ferry that can take you to Corregidor. Or you can go visit St Joseph Church to see the bamboo organ. Then farther south in Bacoor, Cavite take a merienda at The Original Digman Halo-halo. That treat is really worth the trip. While in Cavite, visit the historic Aguinaldo Shrine. A lot of places you can visit while in Cavite. Always ingat on your adventures.

I want to recommend just 2 places in Manila that you will thoroughly enjoy experiencing, it involves dining. The 1st is one of the best buffets in the world, it is called SPIRAL, located inside the 5 star hotel called Sofitel. It is super elegant, yet so delicious so get there early afternoon to get your money's worth. The 2nd is a dining experience you will never forget the rest of your life, it is called SINGING COOKS & WAITERS, located in Pasay. They have the staff serve you, and they will sing for you, and they will have you join in dancing while you wait for your food or after. I highly suggest this place, and the best time to come is around 6"30 PM. There you go, enjoy the Philippines guys.

You guys should consider visiting SM North Edsa (Mall) this is the grand daddy of super mall in Metro Manila before the existence of SM Mall of Asia (MOA), BGC, Makati Greenbelt (1-5), Ayala's Malls, SM Mega Malls and others too many to mentioned, it's located in the residential region of Quezon City' it has Landmark (Mall) as well in front of it and the Tri Noma area, the whole area is a big coverage, check out these places as well Cubao, East Wood in Q.C. and Okada, City of Dreams in Pasay, Paranaque area where SM Mall of Asia is located, traditionally they where all residential area but now developed, you can see the Manila bay in this area as well. If your coming from Makati area Quezon City is to the North and Pasay is to the South. Knowing all the malls and other places and the Edsa Highway and the MRT the "trains" route are very important for foreign visitor in Metro Manila (NCR) this is how it all begins in the urban jungle😂👌👍😎✌.

Don't leave the Philippine until you reached 100k. Go to Corrigedor. An island in the mouth of Manila Bay. Take a boat from the CCP complex. Quite pricy for a day trip but worth it if you are interested in World War II history.

"no chaos"... i think you guys are lucky to see that. pre-pandemic that situation where people are waiting for the bus is totally chaotic where it was everyone for themselves. i think during the pandemic, the people discovered a new-found discipline they thought they never had when every body learned to just fall in line and wait their turn so every one can be accomodated safely. it's holding up so far. i honestly pray this IS the new normal moving forward

If you really want to experience, "Manila" vibes, you should go to MANILA where the Mayor was Isko Moreno, and this time their Mayor is Honey Lacuna. There are several places in "MANILA" that you can visit like Luneta Park, Fort Santiago, National Museum, Manila Zoo, Dolomite Beach in Roxas Boulevard, Malate, Binondo Chinatown, Quiapo Market and Quiapo Church, Tondo, Divisoria, Tutuban mall, Pritil Market, University Belt (U-belt), Blumentritt Market, and many to mention. Edit: When you decided to go to Manila, make sure to place your backpacks in front of you, always be vigilant with your belongings like mobile phones and camera, do not wear expensive wrist watch, necklace, or anything valuable accessories. always ask the right people when it comes to fare, some "red necks" of manila will take advantage of you being foreigners and they ask for a higher fare. It is always best to have someone you can trust to guide you whenever you go around Manila, In general, just keep safe.
