There's quite a few women in Motorsports. Iron Dames in IMSA comes to mind as an ALL-women team. Also lots of teams with at least one woman driver. Also pretty certain that terrible "woman and Asian" comment was meant to be a bad joke. Hilarious as a stereotype joke, terrible if it was a serious comment. Good story nonetheless 😊

women's racing is a massive waste of money. If they were any good then they would compete at the top level, not be a novelty
It sure is because the W Series in Formula racing is pointless, they should compete in the standard lower Formula races as everybody else. I don't understand the why every female athlete who competes in a sport alongside men must announce they are woman in a sense. It's like before we equate their success to a sport, we must first acknowledge their race or gender first. 'First Asian woman' why must that be brought up like no one will care, just say it's a dream to win at Le Mans like it is for everybody who drives there. For the life of me I'll never understand why, like Michèle Mouton when racing for Group B rally never announced she was a woman racing in rally at its peak dangerous years. Never wanted to be known as a woman race car driver, just a race car driver. Story of her co-driver even stating that she just wanted to be a race car driver no 'woman' attached to it. Is this supposed to be some new age feminism with them stating their gender? This is like with Lewis Hamilton, first black driver nobody cares if he's bloody black, today no one cares. No one says their goes Lewis Hamilton the first black F1 driver, they say their goes Lewis Hamilton the 7-time world champion because at the end of the day it's what success you bring to the sport. Not your bloody race or gender. Like throughout ages no one has ever cared about race or gender in this world, it was all based on success and what you've dominated that will live on. Like nobody will care that she is the first Asian woman to win Le Mans that will pass by over the course of the weekend. And I fully 100% guarantee she won't be saying to the mass I won Le Mans as an Asian woman, rather I won Le Mans by itself. Don't know why this generation I was born into brings race and gender is so many things that literally means nothing and will never mean anything. It's annoying to the fullest, like no man has ever said these words unless they were feminine themselves. Thank you for this comment because I've finally found someone that sees throw this nonsense.
