When I had my extension built, the plasterer told me to do a mist coat first to ensure the finished emulsion paint adhered properly, but all it was was a 50-50 mix of water and emulsion, I didn't have to buy any special product and it has worked perfectly well for many years now.

I agree with your comments. Not sure what feature but I do like the idea of no monthly fees as my brother and sister has a security system in place and every month a fee is taken. On a different note I was told that if you have a large plant pot is to put any broken plates cuttings at the bottom saving on compost. I did that some time ago when wheelie bins were introduced and what to do with my old black bin -a giant planter and my plants are thriving.

Having just been broken into at night and my daughter’s car stolen I would feel much safer with a security camera. My daughter is a nurse and needs her car for work. Also lots of personal items stolen in our bags. As there is just my daughter and I at home I love that the system is easy to install. Well done in your renovation Luke. Love to see the progress.

The personal items the took with our bags can never be replaced and that is very sad. My daughter brought the car with her nursing bursary and insurance won’t pay out full value so again frustrating. Definitely need some security in place to feel piece of mind. This has been our home for 25 years and for the first time I don’t feel comfortable. Thank you for asking

Love Eufy!! We have the door bell and have had it for some time. Best feature…. No monthly fee!! You can download any recording and keep it for future reference if needed. I did this once as we had some disturbances on our street. The eufy bell came with both connection to hardwire and also with battery. We chose hardwire so we didn’t have to worry about changing the batteries and have security 24/7. My neighbor has the ring bell and we talked recently about eufy, I said no subscription….she was delighted as she pays subscription every month on her ring bell. Before I purchased my doorbell I really did my research and eufy came up as the most reliable option. I haven’t regretted our purchase. Still going strong, we like the different chimes and the easiness of using it. We can talk to anyone at our door too and sometimes I even use it to check the weather outside raining/ not raining? before leaving the house… such laziness 😅😅.

You should put the plastic pot upside down in the other pot then start to fill. Grow some herbs around the base of your tree. It looks fab

I thought a mist coat was just ordinary paint watered down. That’s what I’ve always done anyway. I like the idea of the Eufy cameras not needing wiring in.

Wow ide love the security camera, being a single mum with 2 children, I've witnessed someone trying to break in to my house at night. They were trying to get in the back door, I froze out of fear at first then ran into my children's rooms and got on bed with them then called the police. It was the most terrifying thing ever so I would love a camera to feel safe.

The garden is looking fab and the olive tree looks great repotted. Just pinch off that little leaf at the bottom of the tree by the soil. Olive Trees are usually grafted and if you leave or let anything to grow below the graft it can badly affect the plant by reverting to whatever type of Olive was used for the trunk.

Loved seeing your mum! I think the colors you chose for the rooms are lovely and well balanced. As for the time involved to do a project, I'd take the amount of time I 'thought' it would take and triple it. If it turns out to be too much, no big deal. The camera will work better if you put it outside the front of the house. Currently the speaker/mic won’t work if a delivery person wants to speak to you. Also when the light comes on it will blur out the image.

I've a GSD so I"m good ;-) if possible, just a tip from me, when planting plants in pots, add the bottom soil then add the pot with plant into it, add soil to the sides and firmly. Then pull out the pot with the plant and remove the pot and you're good to go. :-) not my own idea saw it someday on youtube and remember it every time I plant plants :-) Greetings from the Netherlands. Your mom is such a precious pretty lady. Y'all could be twins you look lots like her. I love seeing videos with you two together it warms my heart to see how much you love her.
