They probably wont sell all of them. They are talking about hundreds of snakes that maybe they just dont have the same passion for. As long as they keep the reptarium open in his memory i understand. Thats a lot of work to keep all those animals.

@@someOne-ef8tl A lot is crashing. Numerous big companies announced even more layoffs. Noah needs to look into letting go of a couple employees, especially the ones that aren't doing a lot of the heavy duty work, heavy lifting, the remaining people multi task until the economy turns around. I looked on the rental availability for The Reptile House, A lot of dates aren't booked, especially in advance around Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas. A lot are broke, a lot are tightening their financial belts for these rough times and seeing what election day brings.

A few years ago, I got a super enchi bumble bee from Brian. He had put her in one of his videos before I got her. I didn't know that until the video was posted. He talked about how beautiful she was, and she truly is gorgeous and one of my favorites. I was so excited to see that video. It took a minute and rewind to double-check, but it was my new baby. She will always be very special to me.

I think the Reptarium and the Legasea Aquarium are large undertakings of their own, not to mention managing a large snake breeding business. Brian was a complete subject matter expert when it came to ball python morphs and snake breeding. They are probably feeling his absence the most at BHB in terms of how to run it. Do what you gotta do guys! You know more than anyone in these comments about what’s best for you.

I don't understand some of the comments. Breeding was always Brian's passion, and he had the knowledge to do it. I don't think anyone else there could do what Brian passionately did. I understand why they want to sell the snakes altho it is getting rid of a huge part of Brian his legacy still lives on in the reptarium and legasea. It's still strange to watch the videos without Brian and what happened to him has changed my life I've started living a lot healthier, getting rid of bad habbits. Brian has always been a big name, so I can't be 100% sure that it would fully lose its umph...until the next generation takes over and no one taught them his name, or they didn't discover him. Downsizing, in my mind, keeps he and the brand alive, brings its quality way up because it would be way easier to manage...could potentially be improved because of so much focus that could be allotted to a smaller collection. At the very same time, I can see it just slowly becoming a financial burden or business risk because the reptile trade. especially snakes, seems to be taking a plunge. It's none of our business either way, honestly. Our thoughts and opinions are extremely moot as we are not in nor know not of their shoes and journeys. One thing I think I can assume to a decent degree is that Brian probably had a plan for the "after." Could be wrong about that, tpp because we're not in their shoes. What I do know with certainly is I hope they get through this peacefully and see Brian's dreams come to fruition. I have planned to and can't wait to visit.

They are building his legacy across the road. Breeding was Brian's baby you can't just expect them to be able to do what Brian did. His knowledge was vast and needed for what he did but even he was getting out of so much Breeding with the new aquarium build.

Understand the Legasea is part of the legacy. I truly support it. And the Reptarium will only be used for private events which is also sad. As Brian had, and Lori has, great business sense. I am sure that looked into hiring more employees to keep the Reptarium and breeding program going. It may not be cost effective , and even with the more employees it is still one more thing for Lori to oversee. She is just one person. I wish they could keep the breeding program at BPH and keep the Reptarium as a public venue. How cool would it be to have two-for tickets for Legasea and Reptarium. It is very sad. 💧

We love our ball python. They are a great starter snake. So gentle and docile and mild mannered. We wear our ball python as a scarf as we walk like 1/8 of a mile from our house to the monthly festivals and other festivals in town. Tons of people stop to ask to pet her and ask about her. We get to educate them and show them how gentle ball pythons are when treated well with respect. I am in my 50s and have a very serious neurological diagnosis issue that requires me to need a cane or a walker depending on how I'm feeling for the day.😢 That day I needed a walker. The snake liked crawling on my walker when I sat on the seat part. We had to watch her carefully. Many people thanked us for bringing her. A few people were repulsed by our snake and stood far from us which is fine and I respect that, but most others saw how she was not slimey and doesn't bite so they would sometimes boldly and respectfully stop us to ask to gently touch and pet her, and learn about her. Old people, middle aged people, and young people all got to enjoy her. She is now a star and will continue to be. Since I used a walker I looked like an old granny so perhaps that made ppl think : if an old lady ain't scared then zlI sure won't be then. She was the most popular thing at the festival. She will be going to more outdoor festivities if the weather is ok for her comfortability. Thanks to Brian showing his comfort, peace, mellowness with snakes, especially the ball pythons. Our's likes to craw all over our torso under our shirts as we are running about the house doing housework. She knows our scent and trust us. When others hold her, she is calm with them, but most often she will reach her head out to me or my adult daughter because we are the 2 that she lives with and the ones that are her personal living breathing trees. 🤣🌳 🙂🌻🐍💜

If you started watching right back at snake bytes….the difference between then and even a couple of years back is existential…. Too bad I live in Germany. Even if it were doable, it wouldn't be fair to the snakes, to put them through such a long journey. But good luck and all the best to everyone, trying to get their dream snake here :)

I just love all of the people in these comments "sticking up for Brian and his legacy" and don't actually know what the hell they are talking or whining about. If you knew Brian, then you all would know that this was his plan, and he talked about plenty of times. He was also very, very clear that the LegaSea was his true dream and legacy that he left to his family.

I know you wont keep all of your Dads snakes, but please, dont sell all of them. His snakes are how he paid for the Reptarium and started with the LegaSea. You could keep the most expensive and breed them? Im REALLY missing the egg cutting. 😢
