Airsoft saved my life. My mental health was extremely low and had no clue what to do. Buddy of mine asked if i wanted to go to a field with him and he would loan me a rifle.... had a sense of purpose being the groups DMR making sure they can safely push objectives ... about a few months in now and i dont plan on stopping ❤

My friendship group collapsed, so I decided to go Airsoft on my own on the weekends. I've met so many nice people

I think the ups and downs in airsoft comes in waves. When I first started I got sucked in immediately and started buying gear and guns. After a few years, life starts. I got married, bought a house, etc., but I was still able to get out and play just not as much. After awhile, me being able to get out and play started to pick back up, then kid number one came. During this time I actually started to part/sell off some of my gear and guns. Money got tight. Then again I was able to start playing more after a couple years, then kid number two happened. As you can see it’s all peaks and valleys, ups and downs. Right now I’m in a valley. Haven’t been able to get out play a whole lot this year, but since I’m saving money by not playing I’m investing into my OG PTS/Magpul ERG M4. New internals and externals, and I’m actually enjoying learning how to tech which used to scare me. I just hated the thought of opening a gear box and having all of those little parts getting lost. Just keep in contact with your airsoft group because yes you do become a little depressed when you can’t get out and play and just hang out with your friends.

I used to go airsofting with my wife. I was a marshall/head marshall at my home field. Then she wanted a divorce… i was at the field each and every week. Working 6 days a week and then on the sunday airsoft. Now that the divorce is final i am at the field 4 days a week. Decided to quite my old job and started working at the field. My ex wife still plays at one of our fields. Together with my old team which includes a guy who I thought was my friend but turned out to be her boyfriend. Yeah that hurt and life sucks right now due to circumstances. But at the end of the day. My mental health has improved and i can take the stuff thrown at me

At the field I play at I was always getting crotch shot on so I bought a groin protection cup because it had gotten to be a common issue with the guys on the field

There is an issue with the gun I was sent for order. All 11 of my lancer tactical magazines won’t feed correctly and that includes the brand new lancer tactical magazine that came with the gun. All magazines are too loose in the mag-well and I need to hold the mag up and towards me in order to be able to consistently fire semi-auto. Please advise why I received a defected Lancer Tactical Gen 3 gun as it won’t feed with the Lancer Tactical mid-cap magazines. I am not happy about this
