I think that Nikko is forgetting: in a SHTF scenario close to home you may be the only friendly with a firearm, therefore more ammo = more ability to suppress until help comes or the problem is solved.

Brotha 1.) if your shooting that much in a shtf scenario help is NOT coming and 2.) unless you’re life is in imminent danger you should do everything in your power to not get in gun fights the avg person will get killed 9/10 times 😂

I saw recon Marines stating they always used double stacked mags. 6 double stacked for 12 mags on thier plate carrier. Plus an additional 6 in pack and 100 rounds for machine gun. All the vietnam guys double stacked as well.

Excessive mags can easily be fixed by learning how to aim so you don't feel like you have to have the extra rounds because every bullet will count.
