IMHO, a Holden is more Aussie than a Falcon, cause the company is started in Australia, while the Ford Falcon is an American car brought over from the USA that has won the hearts and minds of many Aussies, but its still Aussie, but not as much as a Holden and yes I am what you guys call, a GM bloke...

falcon has had way more Aussie designed parts in it for at least the last 40 years (the 6cyl engine has been australia only since the crossflow 6 was introduced). Commodes haven't had an Aussie engine since the Holden V8 was phased out in the VT,

do some research first, the falcon was brought over to the land down under cause at the time, Ford had no direct competitor to Holden, and when Ford execs went to the Ford HQ in Detroit in '58, they saw the Falcon which was similar to a Holden, hence they decided to bring it over to Australia and make it their own car.. don't get me wrong, both cars are quintessentially Aussie, but i feel the Holden is more Aussie

Farhan Pramadipta until the VE the commodore is just a hack job Opel converted to rwd and extended wheel base. The first two years of the falcon we're American, but Holden hasn't been Australian designed since the Kingswood died, and the VE was only Australian designed so to try sell it overseas. yeah nah mate... GM ring any bells as much as the 5.0 was aussie so is the Barra and more importantly what preceded that. Holden since the 90's essentially was chev as they adopted the LS1 and continued on with an imported motor, ford stuck with the barra which is all Australian... and that's coming from a VF SSV owner.

I'd surprised how fragile these rears are. The first one seems to have bent the left axle tube though there were initial remarks that it broke a trailing arm. For a bent axle tube a I beam , 2 large chains and a 10 ton + jack will " work " . . . . The second seems to have snapped an axle shaft, I see these rears have a bolt on axle bearing Vs C clips, that's why the wheel didn't come off. 58:46 shows the bolt access hole in the axle flange . . . The third might have broken a spyder gear. . . . But, with effort, the car made it to " Cut , Print , Wrap . " Great job to everyone.

For such a small crew that you guys normally shoot with, your channel is easily one of the best produced independent (as in not produced with the professionally deep pockets of Motor Trend or Haggerty) car shows on KZbin. Thank you for using compressors, lapel mics, and voice-overs, so the title music and engine noises don't blast through my audio system after cranking it up to barely hear the dialogue, like most of the potato-cam shot content.
