Desire is a want to repeat the same sensation over and over again. Who repeats? The ego person of the past who experienced the sensation and grew an attachment to it. Why do we have desire? Because we are insufficient in ourselves. Why are we insufficient in ourselves? Because we do not know who we truly are. Why do we not know who we truly are? Because we separated ourselves from our origin, our truth. We do not know who we are. We think we know, but we do not. If we knew, we would not follow desire.

Desire is an image out of the sensation. For example sex, what do you think of sex, when you look at a hot woman you tend to think that ahh what great pleasure will it be if I get to have an intercourse with her.
