Was wondering when you both were going to take advantage of the VTLs to go on a vacation. Now it's happened! Good choice...Phuket is pretty safe covid wise compared to Europe where I noticed many Sgreans and residents had been flocking to. Did think though, you might be doing S Korea, as I believe you both have been to Thailand before. Looking forward to watching your adventures in Phuket and Koh Yai Yai. Love how you both were daring enough to wear the Santa hats in Sg!

Yes we were avoiding Europe for fear of getting stuck! We have also been to S Korea before! (Check out our Korea travel playlist). We 100% want to go back there though, but maybe when it's warmer there 😂 We thought loads of people would be I'm the christmassy spirit, but apparently just us!

I am actually surprised that the flight was pretty full. Given the hassle even un der VTL i thought a lot of people will be put off by that. Good to see some life coming back to tourism.

Hi Rob and Jenny, thank you for your video! Is it possible for you two to do a summary/price breakdown video of your trip? Like was the application process smooth, how much were the needed insurance and PCR tests in both country, additional considerations you both had etc. it would be super helpful! Most people in SG are traveling to Europe and US. You’re the first people I know who travelled to Thailand

Application for test and go was pretty smooth (note the scheme has now been paused). We spent about 400 dollars for ALL the tests of the whole holiday (😭). Insurance for Thailand- we got a special one through AXA which was about 80 dollars each. Hope that helps ☺️
