You can pick up calf huts reasonably in the states. Lot of guys are putting up calf barns.

Great video Ben, such is a day on a dairy farm. You go from one job to the next with surprise fixes thrown in you didn't expect. I always love seeing the cows in your videos. Nice to see that you got to do something for your own enjoyment, playing hockey. Love your channel and look forward to every new video. I'm still going back through the older ones.

We used to feed about one hundred bull calves a year. We had our own calves plus we bought some from neighbours. We fed them high moisture corn and a product called Tenderleen. We raised to about seven hundred pounds. Best meat that I have ever eaten. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. Thanks for showing us your cows again. Be safe and have fun.

interesting comment about hutches. I bought 15 hutches 30 years ago for 500 each, sold all of them 6 years ago for 300 each. they were sold before I could even place an ad. Enjoy your videos and love your practical style of dairy farming. Keep up the good work, your cows look super comfy.

Why do you have so much straw in your alley between the cows?

There is more money in a 8 day old calf than a calf you raised for 2-3 months and then sell for veal.
