Pantheon's package in Legends of Runeterra tells a story of him and his friends fighting a powerful demon named Csmphor the Doubt. And no, Atreus and Iula have no romantic connection. (He is too manly for that lmao) The story when he returned to Iula's hut was after he was possessed by Viego. He was depressed, defated and was in the verge of giving up. He needed a friend. By that time Iula had become an old lady while Atreus did not age a day. She convinced him to keep going so that Pylas' death will not be in vain. And then, we see Atreus fighting again in "The Call" cinematic.

I don't know if the lines from the original Pantheon are still part of his voice lines after he was reworked and updated, but he used to have a line where he said " _My profession?_ ... Actually, I always wanted to be a baker." It was a joke based on a scene in the movie "300." But it caught on and became a running meme and joke, and eventually Riot released the Baker Pantheon skin, a joke cosmetic skin where he wore a chef's hat over his helmet, used a cutting board for a shield (I think... Or maybe it was a pizza?) and his spear had a pad of butter balanced on the blade. I haven't seen the Baker Pantheon skin after the rework, so I have no idea what it looks like now. But it was cute. ✌🤓

Pantheon actually has a Baker skin in-game so yeah, little nod at him wanting to be a baker haha! The voicelines compilations I made for Kayn can't 100% compare with Another Nobody's, but I still included animated background visuals and music for the immersion. legends of runeterra is a card game based on leagues lore and in recent years league has stopped putting out lore while legends of runeterra has put out a lot of lore. when a sage seeker card is on the board and pantheon is played, thats when these types of interactions happen.

As reference to dragons in league of legends the game. "Skin" or different looks for your champions are actually based off different lores. Pantheon has a Dragon slayer skin and every time he referenced a Dragon is because you can only hear him use them if you are using his Dragon slayer skin. On another note. Pantheon is my favorite champion due to how fleshedo out his lore is. Atreus his mortal name was a spartan who had a "brother in arms" named pylas. Both of them decided to scale mount targon when their patrol was wiped out and for reasons they were not told the only beings who could help them get revenge would not assist them. So in hope of gaining power for themselves to receive the power of the gods they climbed mount targon. But the mountain is dangerous. Lots of bad weather, beasts, ando ther obstacles. Sadly pylas died before reaching the top but atreus. A man who is know for many losses while sparring but never giving up made it to the top. However when they reached the top the god willing to give them power was the aspect of war. Or in the legends of runeterra "The Warrior", wanted to give power to pylas because pylas was a skilled warrior. The Warrior did not trust Atreus to handle his power so instead of giving him his power the aspect possessed him, driving atreus to the furthest parts of his own mind while the aspect controlled his body. The aspect using Atreus" body sought out monster. Beast. And darkin killing them all until he met Aatrox. They fought but Aatrox drove his large blade through the Aspect's chest killing the Aspect, but Atreus woke up. And as he stared Aatrox in the eyes with his blade through his chest he did the most chad move ever. He spat in his face. Aatrox was pissed but saw a dead man. So he pulled out his blade and walked away. But Atreus did the one thing that defined him. He stood back up battered and bruised and nursed his wounds. A couple months later he received word of warriors pillaging nearby villages. Atreus grabbed the torn weapon and shield of the god of war which had no power of the aspect in it and went to stip the barbarians. Realizing that they were the same barbarians that wiped out his patrol he also realized they were pillaging for supplies to escape Aatrox. Then and there he realized that the reason the god did not help them before they climbed the mountain was because the god believed the barbarians were victims as well. But then and there Atreus realized that the main problem in their society were both the gods and the darkin. Angry he put himself between Aatrox and the barbarians and even though it was a hard fight Atreus defeated Aatrox by using his human willpower to ignite the god like weaponry to strike down the Demon. In Lore Atreus as a man defeated Aatrox and based in lore. Aatrox has yet to get him back.

Legends of Runeterra often releases champions in a packages with small stories interwoven between related cards. So Pantheon's cards basically are a small story of him and his followers (Saga Seeker / Blinded Mystic / Iula) trying to take down the demon, Camphor feeding on doubt. It's nothing major but overall just cool worldbuilding.

I hope the Nunu & Willump video includes the voice lines for Nunu & Willump Bot. The skin has nothing to do with Runeterra's lore as far as I know, but it does have some of the most amusing voice lines out of any skin in the game. It's so meta, and I spent most of the first game I ever played using Nunu & Willump Bot giggling at the things they were saying while I was trying to pay attention to the game.

Atm we keep it away from the skinlines to make it easier for Ola . But once we are done with the canon lore we will try different approaches for skinlines. A lot of Legend of Runeterra cards have voiceline interactions with us. The only champions are the ones in game

just a few things a) LoR the card game has some game specific champions that don't appear on either universe or the official league of legends site (and thus don't have as much lore) there are currently 3 (but asumedly more are coming) those being Norra (who is related to the cat you saw pantheon interact with), Jack (a runterra only card first that then got into an event that expanded a story of a few of the other champions as well) and finally "the poro King" (which isn't really a canon creature but exists only in stories of 1 frelyordian kid) who was made upon some heavy fan demand and was a brief apperance in a league of legends specific game mode (not an actual champion but someone you can summon) and as such has very little lore to go off of. b) a majority of cards in LoR actually expand the world of runeterra a lot especially in their interactions with other supporting cards. that was the case with kindred. they show a lot more about death in all kinds and even how gods of death (including kindred) may meet their own death as well. c) a lot of the characters stories come from aditional info that are based in supported stories on universe and if you don't feel like reading them there are plenty of youtubers that do it sorta audio book style. Necrit is one of those but he goes for more of an interpretive reading then the actual reading (as in it's an analasys and not an audiobook) but personally i like the person who has this channel and this story is actually the one connected to pantheon and are literally just audiobooks of the stories written on the universe page kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJ23ipyLjsilr6M d)LoR card interactions may have very little to do with the characters actual story. they expand the lore yes but sometimes has very little to do with their own story. such is the case with champins that were added later on such as ryze, kayle, vayne, ornn, jax, and a few others e) if you are looking for any suggestions for other characters i would suggest the story of riven and yasuo (their stories intercest a major intersection of stories called "confessions of a broken blade") which then leads into the video you have already seen in "kin of the stained blade" a video you already reacted to in the ionian myths video. each then go into a seperate direction with riven going into "the sisterhood of war" and yasuos into "brotherhood". but if you are looking for one with less stories and more interactions i believe "udyr" is a good choice some nice story plenty of great interactions (he's also one of the few confirmed LGBT+ characters in game with confirmed romantic ties that tie him to other champions in the world that can be seen in his interactions).

I come from panth mains and i felt the need to explain his lore since i saw a lot of users here thinking pantheon is still evil. There were many hosts for Pantheon, the aspect of war. The current one is called Atreus, one of the worst Rahorak soldiers, he was always defeated, but he always stood back up and fought again, he climbed mount Targon with his best friend Pylas after Leona denied help to their tribe (Rakkor) from the Barbarian invasion, so these two climbed the mountain in order to seek help/power so they can fight back, Pylas, like many others, underestimated how difficult it was so he froze to death, but Atreus, because his resiliance, reached the peak. When he reached the peak, the aspect of war judged him unworthy, as he was always defeated in combat, so instead of hosting him like the other aspects, he took control of Atreus body completely, Atreus was still alive, but he only saw vague memories and visions, when the aspect of war now in possesion of Atreus found Aatrox, the two had a god-like war (i wont elaborate as you can look for it), Aatrox defeated Pantheon with a stab on the chest of Atreus, the aspect of war died, the man lives, Atreus regained consciousness, he looked at Aatrox and he spited on his face, Aatrox left him alone as he thought he would die, later Atreus recovered in Iula's farm, the widow of Pylas (she appears in LoR as a card) then Atreus realized the barbarians were seeking for new land because of Aatrox who made them escape in fear of death, and you know the rest, Atreus kept fighting through runeterra fighting against gods, monsters, void and anyone that was a menace for humanity. What peopledont know is that there were many hosts of Pantheon that had the classic simbiosis like Leona, Taric, Diana etc. Areion - Atreus took his spear, named Starfall Zeonia - Atreus took her shield, named Aegis Astraea - Atreus took her cloak, named Solstice. Atreus - current "host" of the dead aspect of war pantheon, wears his helmet, called Nova. What differentiates the rest of hosts with Atreus is that Pantheon possesed him and took control of his body, thus when Aatrox killed Pantheon, Atreus survived, taking his powers and using them to defend humanity from gods, aspects, demons etc. There will never be a new host for Pantheon, only if we take ruination events as canon, (where Viego resurrects Pantheon and takes control back again) neither the prestige skin is canon, they reculated, the prestige skin featured a really good lore, but they decided at the last time to make it NON CANON, Ascended Pantheon is Atreus fully embracing Pantheon’s power and becoming something new, not an aspect, a human with god-like powers who feeds from Targon's energy for his power, something entirely new, something entirely of his own. If his ascended skin was made canon, he would probably be able to fight ASol, but since they screwed up a lot of things in ruination event they decided to not make it canon.

But the 300 were all expirienced and trained soldiers. When in the other army they were all sorts of people gathered who never fought before. 2:18 not really became him again, after Aspect of war died in his body after clashing with Aatrox, Atreus took control of his body again and part of Pantheon's aspect powers was left in his body. So he took the opportunity and used them along with the name of the Aspect of war to fight. and no, Atreus and Iula do not have romantic relationship. The dragons he mentions in his voicelines are from alternate universe (In one of his skin he's a dragon slayer) 6:50 Taric is a former Demacian soldier which climbed mount Targon and become Aspect of protection. and a little funfact in Pantheon Splashart from league of Legends you can see Aatrox face in the background

The dragon voice lines are from his Dragon Slayer skin. A cosmetic change for him in-game, where he keeps most of his base voice lines, but takes on the fantasy/character of a Dragon Slayer.

Atreus is edgy and kinda bitter, because he can't be a baker, because his only choice is to fight, to survive. He's a mixture of Grisha Yeager(can't accept his situation), Zeke Yeager(do the things that he likes), and Eren Yeager(hatred for monstrous beings, Titans/Gods).

I've seen another person reacting to that same second video and to be honest, even if the music adds to the atmosphere and impact of the voicelines, I don't like how they chain certain voicelines together, or leave out the context for them (e.g how voicelines from different skins are mixed into one video with no indication, despite skins essentially being alternate versions of the champion from different worlds or 'what if' scenarios - that's where all the dragon based voicelines came from, as he has a 'Dragonslayer' skin). Personally, I would recommend Skinspotlights' videos, since they actually show the situations in which the voicelines trigger - this is especially good in cases where it is a voiceline directed at another champion, since they will actually show what champion they are talking to, or where it is a skin-specific voiceline, as they will show what the skin is. That sort of context is quite important for certain voicelines. I even added the voicelines from the In-Game Event in which Kayn & Rhaast play the role of the Announcer. also a few things a) you are correct Iula isn't a champion she was a warrior though as many of the Rakhor tribe are. b)the current state of the aspect of war is kinda weird. Atreus is no longer an aspect anymore but the aspects power still dwels within him. the aspects themselves can't be trully killed but they do have a wierd sort of weird state. they could be ressurected (as was seen during the ruination event) but they are still conciderate dead in all manner of speaking yet their constolation reappeared meaning they do exists. in reality how i see it in the body of Atreus there are currently 2 souls 1 of the man "atreus" and one of the god "pantheon" and in a majority of cases these aspect hosts don't control their own bodies in everything but have to bend to the wills of the gods. "Pantheon" is dead and "Atreus" is now in control of his own body the difference is when an aspect host normally dies the aspect is returned to the celestial realm when "pantheon" died this didn't happen maybe they will return when the body of Atreus dies but we have no way of knowing currently the aspect is dead and can't "sponcor" another aspect host. the concept still lives in the world of runeterra but doesn't exists in the world of the celesital realm. basically they aren't "gods" they are just mortal beings that exist in a seperate plane that need a host to effect actions of runeterra they were thaught to be immortal due to their sheer astronomical power that they possess. c) while Aatrox and Pantheon did used to be enemies for sure their current position to eachother i don't think would be as such. both want the death of the aspects but for entirely different reasons and the problem is that Aatroxs way of doing things is in direct oposition to Pantheons Beliefs. so if Aatrox went alone to slaughter the aspects i don't think Pantheon would stand in his way hell he might even help him Pantheons belief is that "god like beings" shouldn't force ppl into their sevitude and to do their biding but do it by themselves (that was also what their 2nd battle was about Aatrox tried to go to mount targon but forced humans into battle by it he stood in defiance of that). problem is both the darkin and the aspects can't do anything without humans and can't effect change without it. Pantheon is basically the protector of humanity against greather threats. this is also why his will to save humans lead him into battle against a failed shuriman ascendent (a Baccai) in Xerath when he started destroying nearby towns.

The aspect of war was put on charge of warding Aurelion Sol and keep him under control, a few vessels before Atreus. That is the dragon he mentions. The important thing about Atreus "ascension" is that the aspect of war possessed him unlike any other aspect, because he deemed Atreus unworthy so he did not want to just grant him his power, he took over his body. That's the same reason why Aatrox managed to kill the aspect of war by stabbing his vessel. Other aspects like the aspect of the sun just grant the powers to their vessels. Aatrox, Aurelion Sol and Pantheon are the 3 characters that got wronged by the celestials in some way or another. And they despise them. Next voicelines should be Aurelion Sol!!!

Pantheon, the god, the aspect of war, is dead. Aatrox killed him, he impaled Pantheon with his sword with a blow so powerfull it wiped Pantheon's constellation off of the sky, but somehow Atreus , the vessel that Pantheon was using at the time, managed to survive and he kept some of Pantheon's powers.

Atreus believed in god yet when humanity needs their protection, they are nowhere to be found. His hatred towards aspects and darkins stemmed from the fact that even though they possess power beyond a man's wildest dream, they only use them for their own benefit. Aspects should be protecting humanity yet they always look the other way and darkins were powerful and capable human warriors worthy of ascension, turned corrupted. Atreus was just an incompetent soldier not even worthy of receiving Pantheon's blessing yet he remains indomitable and fights for the weak. Aatrox in Atreus' eyes is just outright pathetic as he was once a powerful ascend yet he lost himself. Nasus is not corrupted so at least he is just "a god's pet". Only a few received Atreu's respect. One example would be Soraka, a self-sacrificial celestial who sees potential in mortals: "If only your kind could see what you see Soraka, they would weep for you as you weep for us”.

MANtheon is probably one of the greatest things to ever come out of league. I highly recommend watching some shorts from a channel named Snuuy, he makes shorts of the game "Legends of Runeterra" which is basically where we lately get most of the league lore from, and there is even lore hidden in the cards such as 3 cards, one is 2 adventurers, one is another who split from the group while they were climbing mount targon, and the beast they fought the 2 adventurers have less stats than the beast The one who climbed has more stats than the beast The one who climbed eventually ascends Implying that she beat the beast while climbing the mountain and the other sadly did not make it Im glad to see someone loves this game's lore as much as I do! I alos highly recommend the voicelines of Ornn, Taric, Braum, and Aurelion Sol the community's beloved goat dad, fashionista, kind himbo, and space dragon who created Runeterra and trying to play LoR (do NOT touch LoL) since it is a very well balanced game with communication between devs and the community!

As I am planning a LoR playlist for Ola soon. I will most likely add one of Snuuys videos.I know the one you suggested and it is a possible choice or the one with the rangers and the harpyie . Both show how the lore is hidden in the cards perfectly. So thanks for your suggestion. 👍😉 Oh and I will see if we can add your voiceline suggestions as well. Ok so I apreciate all that you do with your channel, but unfortunately, Atreus is my favorite character in ALL of Runeterra, so I have a few things I wanna point out: First it's not Lula, it's read Ee-Oo-La. Iula. The Saga Seeker is a bloke named Tor, who was haunted by Camphor, the Doubt, and was denied a worthy death. The cards from LoR take place in the past, shortly after Atreus broke free from War's control and follow Atreus' hunt for a powerful demon that feeds on doubt, with the help of Tor (Saga Seeker), Iula and the Blinded Mystic. Atreus was also far more than "just a guy", if that makes sense. The whole point is that, as a warrior, he wasn't particularly strong, skilled or talented, but his willpower was so great, so unbreakable and unrelenting, he would win fights by just outlasting his opponent. Pylas was the opposite, strong, wise, skilled and a great general. Both became equally respected due to basically both winning a lot, for opposite reasons. When they climbed the Mountain, it was for 2 reasons: Number 1 was because their tribe had been getting repeatedly raided by barbarians from the north. Number 2 is because they went to ask for the Solari's help and they basically told them to fuck off. With no other options, they made the climb. During the climb, shortly before they reached the top, Pylas succumbed to his wounds and the cold. He died in his beloved friend's arms and begged him to keep going. To show the legendary resilience that made him himself. When Atreus reached the top, he was confronted with the Targonian Aspect of War, who basically went "What the fuck are you doing here? I wanted the other guy who won a lot come on uuuugh". Atreus had, however, a pretty powerful body, so War took it, making Atreus his host, but banishing his mind to some remote corner and using him like a puppet. From there, Pantheon essentially just doing his regularly scheduled Aspect of War chores, not just specifically Solari/Lunari shenanigans as, at the time all this was happening, the Lunari were still in hiding and the most combat between the 2 tribes would be the Lunari getting genocided. When they fought Aatrox, he actually straight up killed War. He stabbed him so fucking hard he killed the god and extinguished his respective constellation up in the heavens. Atreus, miraculously, survived by sheer fucking willpower. He was then nursed back to health by Iula and at which point, he went after Aatrox. From this, he found out the barbarians that had been raiding his tribe were actually just running from Aatrox. They fought and, as established, Atreus began losing. But, from sheer mortal will, he reignited the Aspect's weapons and rekindled the constellation, wielding the full power of the Aspect of War himself. With this, he defeated Aatrox by slicing off his sword arm. From there, he began fighting as a champion of humanity, fully determined to punish and drive away the gods. To him, the divine are nothing but super powerful manchildren who's whims ruin the lives of mortals. "We are caught between Darkin and Aspect, but we will rise up in spite of them.". Atreus is, in essence, what I like to call an antitheist. As in, he believes the gods exist, but also understands that they are absolute ASSHOLES. From there, the Ruination happened and Viego reawoke the dead aspect inside Pantheon. After Viego was defeated and Atreus freed, he lost his spark. He became disillusioned and went back to the home of an old and wrinkly Iula, which are the events of "In Battle, Broken". There we learn a few things. Iula resents Atreus slightly because it was possible him and Pylas felt a bit more than friendship towards each other and how Atreus took him there and lost him. "Iula could not weep. She was too enraged. “He loved you, Atreus! Pylas loved you more than any brother. He was my husband, but he went with you up that accursed mountain, even though I begged him not to. He was mine, and you lost him up there!” She let out a wordless cry of pain, and dug her nails into her forearms. “You got to hold him, Atreus. You got to hold him as he died. And what did I get?” She pointed to the mantel, where Pylas’ blade hung. “I got a sword. Nothing more.”". She is this mad him, because Atreus had essentially gone there to ask Iula's permission to give up. She didn't let him, talked mad shit and sent him on his way. Which leads to the events of The Call, cinematic. He was supposedly climbing back up to Targon Prime (the celestial realm, as it were) to do something. We didn't get there yet. I am so sorry for the massive wall of text but my monkey brain would not let me go on with my day without pointing all of this out. I am also sorry if I sound rude or an annoying know-it-all. I am just more passionate about him than any other character in any fiction so I just had to let this all out. Have a wonderful day and keep doing what you do!
