I don't know how old this vlog was, but just wanted to say glad you had safe travels. Ending of 2025 and last 48 hours have been crazy in the states with air travel. I know I've never met you, but your channel has helped me through a dark time in my life. I know that sounds silly, but your videos have brought great joy and love your passion you have. I know it's not easy always responding to comments or reacting to them, but I think channels underestimate how much it can mean to sone people to feel part of a "community." I know it only gets harder as you grow and there's one of you vs. Endless of us, but effort is appreciated. Im over in the dmv area (d.c., maryland, northen va) lol if you & friends/family ever want a free place to stay while visiting east coast lol 😂 love hearing you roast our american "bread"

@@miccarl1208 thanks so much Michael, really appreciate all the kind words and comments, if I am in that area I will surely let you know. That trip is from a while back, but I actually am going to USA again in a month to Florida, I have been following all the stuff that’s been happening but hopefully this won’t affect our travel. Thanks again!

That was fun. I have hiked and camped for years in the american southwest. (Not in summer). While in Zion, since you were on Riverwalk, did you do any of the narrows? And why did you pick Route 66?
@StopMeOhКүн бұрын
@@suzanneneilsen1680 sadly we only had one day at Zion so we didn’t get to do much else; we checked more last year when visiting Yosemite, this trip was a bit tight schedule-wise. I always pick my trips based on flight deals, since before this one we have been to New York, Washington and New Orleans I felt like it was time to try out west coast, then the deal came for Las Vegas flights. Ever since then we also visited California and soon we’re heading to Florida :)
@suzanneneilsen1680Күн бұрын
@@StopMeOh I get the appeal of flight deals. As a Californian, I gotta say I love Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. Enjoy Florida, even if it's on the wrong coast :)

Violet deserves so much better than a dictator girlfriend who doesn't see her as an equal and the fact y'all don't see that is insane. You don't just come back from an oppressor/oppressed dynamic like that. Crazy.

Yes it was very beautiful for Cait to finally see that Jinx was just a daughter grieving just like she was.
@deeryoonageneration5752 күн бұрын
When Jinx is about to blow herself up and Ekko comes, if you look close at her smeared eye make up it kinda looks like it spells out "IV" which would be VI backwards. Do you think that means something? Or am I thinking way too much into it? 🤣 Because I know one of the best parts of arcane is they put a lot of intentional details into their animation. I'd love to know what you think? 🙂
@8dforce2 күн бұрын
I totally agree with you that Vi looks good in badge and uniform.👌 This video was quite insightful about you are what you wear, especially Vi's outfit during season 2's second act. Wolves can be negatively symbolized as evil as well as untameable destruction, and Vi wearing the black jacket with the 2 angry wolves shows how she sees herself at the time, destructive towards others including herself, and believing she is a bad person which she truly isn't. (The title of evil wolf definitely goes to Ambessa) Wolves are also positively symbolized as loyal, protective, and brave. Throughout the show towards its end, Vi embodies all the positive traits that make her a loyal and brave protector, just like her father Vander. I also feel that wolves are Arcane's theme animal, even though we don't see a lot of animals. What do you think?

When the relationship is about showing and not telling, physical abuse is an even bigger betrayal of trust. Yes, Caitlyn was sorry, and yes, she showed that, but sorry is NOT enough after abuse. Also, people still NEED words. Relationships where there's no verbal affection, affirmation, and apologies just don't work. These things need to be explicitly stated at least sometimes. It's not that "their love language is physical touch", it's that they're both incapable of talking about their feelings. It's a problem. Especially after something like this. Abuse needs to be directly addressed and being sorry is not enough either way. They made it seem like what Caitlyn did wasn't even a major transgression. It was. And that's ultimately the problem there. They made the relationship unnecessarily "dark and messy" because Amanda Overton apparently thinks this is what the deepest straight relationships look like, and she "didn't want to water it down and make a disservice to LGBTQIA relationships". Relationships don't need to be dark or messy to be deep, and what they had in season 1 was so nice to see because it was tender and sweet. It was something good to hold on to in a fucked up world. It was already dark enough with Jinx killing Cait's mom. We didn't need this. They could've had a great relationship without it being abusive and without Cait going this far to the right. They turned Vi into a victim for no reason, and then they gave her Jinx and Vander back just to take them away again. Vi deserved so much better. Not just in terms of happiness, but in terms of character development and storyline. I guess this is what happens when straight men don't show interest in a character.

My ex was Jon to everyone around him, but I and sometimes some of his family were the only ones to call him Jonathan. It just felt so much more intimate to me. At first he said it was weird hearing his full name, but I think it grew on him, and he liked that intimacy we had that others didn't.

I think I thought about this season all wrong. I thought since season one was about Jinx’s trauma that season two would be about Vi’s trauma - thematically completing the yin and yang symbolism. But what if we had framed the story wrong? What if season one was about Jinx’s trauma and season two was about Vi’s faith? Not about Vi being able to heal all her trauma yet, but about her realizing her faith in people can get through to them. And they might pull through for her. I still think this idea could’ve been clearer in the writing, but if that’s what they meant, then that changes my whole perspective of their direction with Vi’s arc.

These are some nice insights of their final scene together in the show. While watching Caitlyn looking at the possibility of Jinx's survival, I think she ultimately decided to drop it due to not having enough solid evidence, and how unhappy she was when hunting her down. Caitlyn also didn't want to hurt Violet with false hope knowing there is a good chance she could be wrong about Jinx surviving. I like how Caitlyn had so many questions to ask and was able to put them all into one. It was subtle, but there was also a hint of fear written on her face when she asked, like a silent plea to Violet telling her what her true fear is, losing her for good and being truly alone. Violet was able to understand the question and heard Caitlyn's hidden fear. Despite what and who she lost, Violet knows what she has now, a home and the woman she loves. The way Violet answered her question is what put Caitlyn's fears to rest, by calling her by the nickname she gave her and essentially saying I am here, I will always love you and will remain by your side no matter what. The last part of the final scene I find heartwarming is both of them wearing a relaxed smile on their faces which shows how much their love for each other has a positive effect on their mental, and emotional well-being.

Thank you for consistently being one of the biggest CaitVi defenders out there despite all the hate. Your analysis are always great. I will further add that Vi's trauma is barely explored in the show - it's like there's an unfairness in the script representative of real world bias. The loud, outwardly depictions of trauma are easy to sympathize with while the quite ones who suppress it are ignored and put in a box to be "good". They are held to impossible standards while others like Jinx get awarded much more leniency. It simultaneously undermines and exacerbates the dilemma that it's not a competition.

Silco didn´t know that Vi was alive in that scene, he believed that Vi died, When he found out that she was still alive, he got shocked and then went to Marcus to ask him WTF, then he tries to kill Vi so she stays dead, after he failed he lies and gaslights JInx so hard that is out of character, almost like he is in panic, it was a weird scene honestly.

I think it's weird and annoying how some people focus so much on Caitlyn's actions and forget about the characters who did worse things than her like Ambessa and Viktor who were going to commit genocide in both cities, they are did evil actions, and also Jinx when she gassed Piltover and injured innocent people including women and children? Like why no one talk about that Istg that some people are so hypocrites.
