My favorite part of this movie is Nebula. Rocket was the only one she had for the 5 years after the snap. She gets overly emotional (for her) throughout the movie trying to save her friend. The emotion she has after hearing Rocket’s voice is *chefs kiss*

James Gunn writes and directs all of the Guardians movies and this was his last movie with Marvel. He left Marvel to run the DC comics cinematic universe (his Superman movie comes out next year). Most of the Guardians cast said that they wouldn’t make another Guardians movie without Gunn. That’s why at the end it said that Star Lord would return and not the guardians. So we will see Peter in either an avengers movie or a solo movie at some point but there aren’t going to be any more Guardians movies

Not this again. Adam was removed from his cocoon early, so he wasn’t as powerful as he was supposed to be. That also meant he had the temperament of a little kid, so he was more immature than he should have been. Gunn was obligated to use him in this film, but he couldn’t have exactly made the whole film about him. Also, the whole “Englishman with the vocabulary of Shakespeare” is so boring and overused. We had it already with Thor, and they made him funnier because audiences didn’t rock with the previous version. I’d hate for the same to happen to Adam.

I love that they went into Rocket's backstory. I read a comic where he was first introduced and teamed up with the Hulk and shares parts of his backstory. He shares bits and peices in a few comics and then some more in the Guardians of the Galaxy game. Tragic backstory, Bradley Cooper (Voice Actor for Rocket) did such a good job with the acting. The cries of Rocket are heart wrenching.
