Horses really are healers. As a white person, I never knew this side of black heritage existed. Yes, definitely keep up this tradition! Get those kids onto a horse immediately. And you've certainly chosen the right breed...the Tennessee Walking horse/racking horse/single footer and even off track Standardbreds. There is nothing like a locked-in gaited horse. Just get on and FLY! Who can possibly be depressed when you are on the back of an amazing animal that will happily and smoothly carry you away from all your worries. Great horses, great family, friends, food and music. Now THAT is what builds a great community. Many many blessings to all!

I totally agree, my horse kept me going after my husband died. I was severely depressed but she had to be fed/ watered 2,x a day. In the past when I had problems, I always rode. Always felt happy by the end of my ride.

This is a great video, really enjoyed the riders expressing how they feel and what's important. Talking about so many positive things. Friends, teaching children, love of their horse, having a great time. And like the young lady rider said, making people more aware of history of past and present black riders. I love all the videos of trail rides. Keep going.

@@kamebrooks2732 they only care about their own feelings. They don't care about the horse. They need to ruin joy, the joy some humans can't contain when they live with horses. This joy is what really hurts them. If these horse haters had their way none of us would own horse, work horses, race or jump horses. There deliberate ignorance wants horses made irrelevant and set them free , relegated to extinction. Imagine in NYC the horses are temperature controlled, but they should be free at the same time, so there is no logic. They just really want everything horse deleted.
