I actually respect this guy, he's not hurting anyone. He's caring for pigeons. From a Islamic perspective, pigeons are very esteemed among the bird family. The thing is you have serial killers, and one of their markers in their early years, is cruelty to animals etc. This guy actually respects and cares for animals. So in my book, this could be his ticket to paradise. There is a religious saying where the Prophet peace upon him said, a prostitute was forgiven for giving a thirsty dog water from a well, using her shoe. I've always loved pigeons since I was a little kid. My mother would sometimes find either baby pigeons or wounded pigeons around the area and bring them home for a few weeks. We'd take care of them, they'd get better, and then we'd set them free. Some didn't make it and we'd bury them. Honestly, pigeons are probably my favorite bird. They are gentle and loving, and of all the birds they are among the few that I feel can develop a strong bond with a person. The only thing that I'd be concerned about is eating or touching my face without first having washed my hands after contact with them, but aside from that, I love what this guy is doing and hope that there are many more like him. And I can't stand people who hate pigeons. I think how a person feels about pigeons and especially how they behave towards pigeons says a lot about their character, for better or for worse.
