All the times I’ve eaten at Bacchanal never thought to ask them to put prime rib on the grill, that really looked good, will do that when we next go.

Used to be 2 hours. And $80 is good if it’s gourmet quality food (which it is). Same thing at a Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant next door costs $200-300

It’s Las Vegas! That’s cheap. My wife and I were there a couple of weeks ago and went to Nobu, Scarpetta and bazaar meat each on those cost over 500 dollars with drinks. It’s not like you go to Las Vegas a few times a year, when you go just enjoy yourself 😅

At any restaurant if you order an appetizer, salad, main entree, and a dessert it most likely will cost the same to more, depending on where you go. Just check prices at your local steakhouse (I looked at my local Longhorns). Appetizers are about $10 average. If you get a fish or shrimp meal it's about $20. Add a steak meal easily $25-30 add a dessert at about $10. You are now easily in the $60 - $70. And there are many more choices at the buffet. If you go to a high end steakhouse in Vegas you are hardly going to find a steak for under $80 and that does not includes Appetizers, salad, sides or dessert.

just bring a big bag that looks like a tourist bag with a roll of tin foil in it and hide it under the table, and sneak some of those meats in it and afterward take it back to your room for later after walking around..than the 80$ will be like 8 bucks.

Why do people complain it’s expensive, it is but it’s Las Vegas. It’s not like you go there 10 times a year just enjoy it when you do go there. I’m from the UK and visit once a year maybe even every 2 years but when we go we just enjoy it. We save up and go for it when we get there. 80 dollars is cheap in LasVegas, we went to Nobu, Scarpetta, Bazaar Meat and each of those was over 500 dollars with drinks. Breakfast for 2 anywhere nice is 70 dollars at least these days. Mon ami gabi, best breakfast spot in Vegas in my opinion sets you back 80-90 dollars for two breakfasts, coffee and maybe a cheeky Bloody Mary but it’s why you visit Vegas! I agree it is ridiculously expensive but if you are going to go just go and enjoy it

If you think $80.00 is cheap, you must be one who does. Anyone who spends $90.00 for breakfast burns money for heat in the winter.

I was just in Vegas in the beginning of the summer, and high dollar buffets are on the slide. Everything is top dollar, but quality and service was anything but. At $50/person, the buffet would be great. But not at $80. Two of the best buffets in Vegas (Cesaer's and Wynn) are examples. I've heard other examples of this too.

Cosmopolitan Buffet still has the same quality as pre-pandemic. $55. Unfortunately they stop serving lunch at 3 pm so you have to walk to Bellagio if you want dinner buffet .
