I've had all sorts of issues in UK shopping malls, as well, with cameras. They say you can't film or take photo's in a mall for anti-terrorism reasons, then they shoot a whopping great hole in their own argument by saying "Oh, but if you pay us a fee, we'll let you use your camera."

My experience with a security guard in the USA was this, went to a Maccas in Dallas for brekky, they had a security guard who looked about 7 feet tall !!!, he had THREE handguns and a tazer, I said,” you expecting trouble mate”..???, he tapped the guns with his hands, and replied,” not with these sir”….!!!!!!….
