I'm so proud of Wyatt for being more open to trying new food. I remember when he was younger he wasn't a curious eater (my son was the same way) but now he seems to dive into everything and finds he likes a lot of stuff. It's been fun watching your family try so many different types of food from other countries over the years. You've made some things I never heard of before and that's really cool!

I held my breath nervous when it got to natto. I relaxed when Hannah said she wanted to try it respectfully - brilliant. It really stings when people gross out about it! Not everything is to everyone’s taste, that’s fine, but the dramatic “yuck” isn’t kind. I love how open minded and respectful Hannah and her family are!
@mig38822 жыл бұрын
I just love how open and respectful you are towards new eating cultures. It is just great to see what you are teaching your kids. I just know they would never laugh or comment on other kids lunches in a bad way and would rather just be curious and open towards it ❤

With the fruit sandwich if you watch Kimono mom on KZbin she doesn’t pre slice the fruits. She puts them whole/large pieces and fits it in the bread, then wraps them in plastic wrap really tight, puts them in the fridge and then cuts them horizontally and that’s how you get that perfect slice. 💕

Watching Hannah teach her kids to love food, cooking and diversifying their palate is so enjoyable and wholesome. I wasn’t surprised at all when the boys were respectful and took making the temaki sushi seriously. Hannah taught them to appreciate and respect other cultures through food, which is vitally important. She’s my favorite KZbinr for a reason

Oooh! I’m a new fan of your channel and it’s such a joy to watch you create experiences at home with the littles. You asked for suggestions and I immediately thought of Polish food! My boyfriend is half Polish and I’ve really enjoyed learning how to make recipes his mom gave him growing up. Also, in Florida I rarely see or hear of Polish restaurants. Winter is a great time to experiment with this country’s food because it’s super hearty and they use a lot of root vegetables, soups/stews, and various forms of bread dough. Very warming.

Don't be afraid to make your own rolls!! I see so many people avoid diy rolls. Most of the time the reasons people struggle so much is 1.) They try to make it perfect. And 2.) Trying to use mats or wraps. Don't even bother, especially at first. The _'hardest'_ part is finding the right ratio of ingredients. It's always SO MUCH LESS then you would expect to use. As a tip... obviously rolls with nori wrap on the outside are the easiest to start. Keep a tiny bowl of water for to dip your fingers in to "glue" the rolls down. But ALSO (and maybe most important) make sure you have a DRY clean towel for your hands to help everything else not glue together!. It doesn't have to be pretty to taste delicious. After a few attempts it just gets better and better Happy Rolling

For the sushi , you want to put a log of rice at the front and put a groove in it. Then place fillings in the groove and roll to cover and squeeze. Wet the very end and keep rolling . It will then stick and be soft . Place in cling film / Saran wrap and wrap tightly . Chill for a minimum of 20 mins then cut

If you ever do the sandwiches again, before you cut them, try wrapping them in plastic wrap very tightly, and then cut them into triangles, that way the sandwich bread and the fillings have nowhere to go and don't squish out! Some places even cut the crust off before they fill the slices...

"Isn't it crazy that we have different banks and it's that easy" Here am I not able to remember when it has last been not that easy to transfer money to someone with a different bank here in the Netherlands. I remember online banking as a teen (about 15 years ago) and at that time same bank would be instant, different bank would take a day. No idea when that became instant too but it's been like that for years here. No extra apps needed, just your own banking app. Now I have to settle my amazement and enjoy the rest of your video.
