id have to go and say my fav go to childhood meal was either plain pasta with grated cheese or tined tomato spaghetti (Heinz all the way) heated up and then stir through grated cheese so it was only partly melted! Go to childhood snack was a banana dipped in milo or ice cream topped with instantly hard chocolate sauce.

My favorite childhood meal is "arroz de cabidela" it is a traditional portuguese meal. It is rice with chicken, but there best part ist that the rice is made with the chickens blood. I use to have on the weekends and I still love it. It taste better than it sounds.

Best combo is sliced bananas cooked with brown sugar and a bit of pure butter and put on white toast with a little cinnamon powder and whipped cream on it

We used to put walkers salt and vinegar or cheese and onion crisps on a plate, cover it in melted cheese and microwave. If you like marmite, can melt some of that on it too 🤭

I LOVED the cereal Capt Crunch( though my mom would never buy the crappy cereal). It wrecked the roof of my mouth but I still loved it. You had to eat it in 2 seconds flat or it got too soggy. Despite all the negatives, it must have crack in it as I still look fondly at it as I walk through the cereal isle at 55 years old :)

Ohhh sunny d used to beg for that lol dairylea dunkers i completely agree on the french fancies pink all the way i just wouldnt entertain a brown one lol its mad thinking back to foods early 90s.
