I wish I had A Fran in my early days. I would be in a different boat right now. It amazes me how effortlessly Fran goes down as deep as you do Jack. I rented surf boards on Surfside Beach Texas when I was 14 and 15 yo. I have hated sand and sun ever since. Now I am 70 yo, it doesn't sound so bad. Better than shoveling snow.

In Sarasota Bay did a lot of Sea Trout fishing mainly going after Redfish.Catching a legal sized fish that was the trick there.

Very cool! I was wondering when you were going to break into a Heart of Palm video? I've had lots of Heart of Palm, and they are very yummy, If there's any Bamboo on the island you might want to find some young Bamboo shoots to cut down and eat as well, very good to eat, and usually abundant. The Coral Trout looked Amazing, great job both of you, Jack for harvesting and Fran for cooking. Are you in an area where you also have Tuskfish? a few shots today and last episode of the bottom looked very favourable for Tuskies, which is yet another species to knock off the list. Thanks for allowing us to tag along with you on your adventures, you inhabit a truly breathtaking corner of our little old blue marble spinning and wobbling along in space. Until the next time take care, and if you think about it, when you have that new power catamaran close would you give us a tour of her from what she's built from to what's driving her, range, what kind of seas she can handle etc. Cheers from Canada!! I once heard about eating the hearts of palms ,but was told about cabbage palms in So Florida. We have cut down no less than 20 Coconut palms in our yard. I guess the " good ole boy " came out of me while watching Fran rebuild the fire pit . The rocks looked to be as heavy as she is . The shark seem to feel more at ease , if you will , being in the same area . My guess is , if you did not get the fish out of the water , the scent of blood would bring them closer to " investigate " . Another fine display of nature's beauty . Thanks for sharing .
