We are absolutely blessed to live about 20 min away from PMT, so we hike it a few times each week (and have been for the past 28 years!), and it absolutely is fantastic. Plus, Three Little Pigs is the best thing on planet earth.

I am solo backpacking this with my dog over the Thanksgiving break and starting at the tower. I am making it a loop that comes out to about 25-26 miles total. Ironically, I am staying at Bethel one night...lol. Guess I should have paid better attention to your other video.

Haha if your hammock camping it’s not bad at all. If your by yourself there is like one good spot for a tent. Haha. You’ll be fine! Site just sits on a hill so makes it frustrating to level a tent. Thanks for watching!

I usually hike 23~0. Whiskey Still is one of our least favorite campsites. It is strategically located for though hikers. Trekking poles tents might have some issues. Good luck.
@SouthernHike

I don’t like the water situation but kind of like the campsite. Just has a unique vibe to it. And for might be more difficult for trekking pole tents. We mentioned you in the video when we passed Sparks Creek. Thanks for watching John!
