Jelena, do you know that the Lanka (Jackfruit) seed is edible? Just wash then boil them. Put in a deep pan add a pinch of salt and put water just to cover the seeds, boil for 10 to 15 minutes, drain the enjoy.

the white strands that hold the yellow fruit inside can be cook together with sugar .in low heat and makes a good bread jam for breakfast...it will smell better than the fruit and taste more ritcher than the fruit itsel once it becomes a jam,,,,,only a little bit labor picking strands one by one...use a knife....
