I just stayed here. I literally loved it, the service was amazing. The view was beautiful gosh I can’t gush about it enough. The food was mid but I didn’t even care.

The laundry bag...are we able to take that home with us? Just curious as I would use it for wet swimsuits if we had a late check out. Also, do you get one those canvas beach bags? I have gotten them at other resorts and I know some Dreams properties give them as well.

We don't think you can take the laundry bag home, but what we do is bring a plastic bag from home just for the situation you describe 🙂 You can see it on our 16 tips video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJDMi6WOfbSJlac - We didn't have a tote bag in our room. We've also gotten them in some resorts but not at the Dreams Onyx. We also bring our own because it's super helpful! 😃

Love this review guys! I’m SO torn and due to fly out in 11 days!! Please help!! I have both this hotel and the Royalton Bavaro swim up rooms booked but need to release 1 booking! We’re looking for: - Great modern, clean sumptuous swim up room - Huge resort with lots to do - Large water park with a water park for kids, a wave pool and lazy river - Night / day shows and entertainment - Good food with lots of restaurants - It needs to be aesthetically gorgeous for my husband and I, yet an absolute blast for my 2yr old! If there’s a completely different hotel that I’m missing, please do let me know! Xx

Glad it was helpful! First off, please make sure you see our review AND tour videos of both hotels where we explore all areas of the hotels. The Onyx is more modern than the Royalton, especially the rooms. The Royalton in bigger than the Onyx. The Onyx has a water park and the Royalton does not, however, most of the rides are not for small children. The Royalton does have a small water park pool for small children. Both hotels have a lazy river. Both also have day/night entertainment. The food at the Onyx is better than the Royalton and both have a nice variety of restaurants. The Royalton has a wave pool (paid for regular guests, some time included for Diamond members). The Onyx feels more luxurious than the Royalton and both have a family vibe. Now, I'm going to throw you a curveball! I believe that the LOPESAN Costa Bavaro has everything you're looking for so I would STRONGLY advise you to consider it... We also have a review and tour videos in our channel, go and watch them! Can't recommend the Lopesan enough... out of the three it's our favorite. -Ari :)

The waterpark rooms are not the cheapest. Those are premium rooms and cost more. The cheapest rooms would be the junior suite garden view in the Gem and Stone buildings.

What gives alkohol in the hotel orginal or fake ?

Reputable hotels like this one will only serve you original alcoholic beverages because that is very well regulated. Now, brand alcohol is another thing… the more expensive the hotel the better liquor brands you can expect!
