Stayed there in 2015 and got a free upgrade to a room with a view of the laser show 🤗 quaint is the right word 😊 just wish it was within safer/closer walking distance to another property for variety (without having to shuttle)

We used to stay there exclusively Bowling, Billy Bobs, Atrium rooms, waterfall bar etc etc etc. Now we own a home to go to when we visit on the other side of the valley. (Our retirement home) so we haven’t stayed there in years but still stop by on our way to and from the lake. Sams Town is the best and lots of fond memories

I’ve been staying and playing multiple times a year in Vegas since 1990. Sam’s Town is by far my favorite. It’s a very comfortable environment! It was a motel back in the early 90’s. When they built the current hotel and atrium, we were so excited. The laser light show is worth seeing, when they get it running again. We stay in the RV Park now. It’s great! Thanks for featuring Sam’s Town!

I love Sams Town. It is quieter than on the strip and the atrium at Christmas is awesome with all the lights. A long time ago there was a coffee cart right by the check in desk sadly it is gone. Miss the Firelight Buffet too. We became great friends with one of the waitresses there. She was awesome! Thanks for the tip on getting movie popcorn and taking it for a snack. Never thought of it!

I finally got to visit after like 20 years. Many of my friends didn't want to go that far off strip, so when I took a solo trip I finally got to see it. It has retained some of that great old Vegas Hospitality. The atrium and water show is still a great attraction. Lots of marriages going on in the atrium, and it's still pretty impressive and fun place to get married. I'd like to stay in an atrium room next time I'm there. Thanks for all your coverage!

As a tourist liked to go to Sam's Town. When I lived in Las Vegas this was one of my favorite places to go. Do they have non glass enclosed elevators at Sam's Town? They used to have a very good buffett here. The Great Buffett was the best buffett in Las Vegas. My wife and I liked the pizza they had here and Calamity Jane's Ice Cream Shop. Very nice stores here. Used to have a really good buffett. Part of the casino used to be on the second floor. That changed since the COVID protocol. Never stayed here, but, it was a great place to go to. Try The Longhorn sometime. Good 24/7 Coffee Shop.

I Love Sam’s Town! I been staying there for the last 8 years 3 to 4 times a year ! I have great memories there ! Very fun place and they have Dunkin doughnuts yumm plus Roberto’s taco shop it’s delicious! Will be there in 2 weeks excited !

I go to Sam's Town and win my butt off. I live about 20 mins away. Closer to GVR! But back in the day it was a favorite of the best comedian to walk this earth and that was Mr. Redd Foxx! He lived on Eastern Ave and Russell. There is still a fox on the sign in front of his home.

I was in Las Vegas for 5 weeks of the Spring of 2022. Sam's Town was one of the six casino hotels I stayed during my 5 weeks in Vegas. I was impressed by the attrium and the room was decent. Would definitely stay at Sam's Town again.

I have been patronizing Sam's Town since the 80's. I have to say, when Sam's Town closed the Western dance hall on the second floor, it was the beginning of the end for me. That place was hopping back then and now it just feels so yesterday's news. They used to have a buffet, cafe Italian restaurtant, Mexican restaurant, steak house and a fifties style malt shop on the second floor. Now, they only have a TGIF and a Mad Butcher for their sit down dining options

i from Hawaii and we get the California Hotel, Main Street Station specials. Boyd gaming has a plane a day going to Vegas from Hawaii that is why u see so many Hawaii specials and meals all over Vegas. I make it a point to go the Sams town every trip. there is a free shuttle from the California Hotel

As a kid I probably spent a good 3 years of my life in that place. I’m glad to see its still thriving but they better bring back the laser light show or ima be giving an earful about it! I think Sam’s town is magic because there’s lots of hidden things to do and see!

I am a fan of Sam's Town too and have been going there for many years. Boyd properties in general always give a great bang for the buck. Plus it is easy to earn free rooms by using their players card. 🎰🎰
