Both absolutely stunning fish, congrats to whoever bought them. I have many fish in several different ponds and I love my showa, sanke, kohaku,matsuba etc. But what excited me most is a doitsu lemon hariwake. I would love to get around 8-10 to grow out.

having seen how much these can change color, then this variety is a chance of luck, what you see is not what you get. - they can become completly black from head to tail, and that ruins the "look you bought"

Ja prachtig, weet je wat ik jammer vind aan de matsukawabake is de size in combinatie met de leeftijd. 52 cm voor sansai? Ja een matsu had toch wel op 3 jaar aan de 60cm te zitten lijkt mij. De matsuba is ook prachtig!!! Groetjes jeroen

Hi Jeroen Louw, I will anwser in English if you dont mind. First of all it needs to be in the Fish, normaly Komunryu Does not Grow that fast too. Beside that some Breeders make the choice to let the Koi Grow slower to maintain the skin quality. I think this is What happend to these Koi.
