Lovely house and pool. Another couple bought a similar new property in Hua Hin, I saw their post yesterday. I think they paid $100,000 they got a percentage off the asking price, (I think the husband was a real estate owner from Arizona.) @@scottgeen3062 Hi Scott . Thanks for you comment. It is probably a bit difficult to answer this . It depends what you want to do here. If you are a family or single man etc. If you want to live a quiet life and eat locally you can live very cheaply. If you want to eat western food go to bars etc that can take up a lot of your money. We always suggest renting first . Many people buy condos here .

No that is just a small seat under the shower. Heaps of room to shower standing up. There is also a hand held shower head also.

Congratulations on your new home. Huge garden. Love the marble style flooring. Is the robot a vacuum cleaner or does it wash also, I know some do. Are these houses on mains sewerage in these outlying areas or do they have a septic tank that needs emptying from time to time?. Lovely house but, I couldn’t live without an oven personally, but you could have paid extra and have one added?. Yes a vacuum cleaner. Apparently it does wash but we have never used it.🤪 Septic tanks only , but if used carefully you don't have to get it pumped very often. We rented a place before we bought ,for nearly two years and it never needed to be pumped. Limit the toilet paper and all should be fine. There is room for an oven if you wish to add one. We bought a small portable one. So far it is perfect for us. The issue with ovens here is that they heat up the whole house and it becomes unbearable even with aircon !

@@HereComeTheParkers I know what you mean about heat from an oven. I currently live in Taiwan but couldn’t live without my oven for roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings with a joint. I do find however turning the extraction fan on full does help no end as heat rises. Thanks for taking the time to reply. Recently also watched your buying a train ticket video to bangkok. In Thailand can you not buy train tickets at your 7/11on a self service machine?.

Leasing the land for 30 years is the best way to do it. I'll be 86 years old when my lease expires. With any luck I won't have. Setting up a company to buy land is not strictly legit. Many investigations happening in Phuket and they will also take place in Chiang Mai and Pattaya.

We are about half way between Hua Hin and Cha Am. 20 minutes to Market Village and 8 mins to the nearest beach. They are doing major road works on the highway so that has added a bit more time.

There is a 7/11 not far. And a couple of local restaurants which we will try out. But apart from that you will need a car or bike to get around. Hua Hin malls about 19 minutes away by car.

It is appox 6 minutes from the beach. And 7/11 two minutes down the road. It is 17 minutes from Hua Hin and about the same to Cha Am. Yes you would need a car or motorbike.
