You might have more controls in the cab of that truck than they have in the cockpit of a jet ! Be sure to read the owner's manual to make sure you don't accidentally hit the button that's really an injection seat !

Good to see your channel show up in my feed. Am subscribed but this vid is the first one in a long time. Have missed hearing what you have been up to sinceSpring. Truck sounds like a beast. Upgrade to your work environment as well. What does Bower think of it. Is it a concept yet for him? Wish you a safe and successful winter season.

Nice!! If I may.....I wouldn't let it idle much or you will be doing a lot of regen's....make sure you use grade 22 hydraulic fluid, much easier on the pto pump, I wouldn't exceed 1000 rpm while operating the pto( it will last a long time) In winter I wouldn't rev it at all raising the box, just idle up . with them big tires on the steer I never turn the wheels unless I'm moving a little,it keeps wear down to a minimum. I always change the engine oil and filter at 200 hrs and grease at every 100 hrs, I change fuel filters at every second oil change. I know it's a preference for most operators but for me Gadus grease S2 V30KXD1 for winter and Gadus S3 V460D2 for summer there's 1,686,472 km on the clock on our unit with almost no problems. Brake a leg !! on your new investment ! Be well !

STunning Truck. just curios, that looks like a retarder (gearbox/hydraulic) rather than being an exhaust brake. (the reason I think that is the picture of a gear on the stalk) all the Trucks and Coaches Ive ever driven have retarders than than only an exhaust brake). Would love to drive this.
@Graveltrucking4 күн бұрын
On camera it looks more of an orange red not the common coca cola KW uses, yeah I'm not a big fan of red, my favorite color is blue. That's a fairly short wheel base truck it should turn nice and sharp you're guys dump boxes are shorter than what we use out west which is 16 foot 6 with a 224-230 wheelbase truck. Glad you have work out east its tanking really fast out here on the West Coast of BC. Gets any worse I will be taking a job in the grocery store for minimum wage gotta do what you got to do. The repair bills add up with trucks, the 34 year old Kenworth dump I drive has a ton of money spent on it over the years. I make the same amount of money per day (1120.00 to 1300.00) as the guys with the new(er) trucks, my truck burns 200 dollars in fuel in a 8 hour day. A driver can make or break the profit on a truck, my old truck is pushing 2 million kilometers. For what the boss paid for the truck its paid for itself 10 times over it doesn't owe him a dime, when the engine blows the truck will get retired. For us out West labour rates are high a truck driver makes 40 dollars per hour, hoe operators are 45 plus. Tandem axle dump trucks are 140-150 per hour plus fuel surcharge, depending on what we are doing minimum call out.

You can’t complain about repairs if you run it every day. Its normal wear and tear. Stuff isn’t made the way it used to be. So now you will pay in a payment and insurance verses repairs. 🤷🏼♂️

That front grill surround looks like it doesn't have a good chrome coverage. You can tell if you hold a piece of white paper next to it and if it reflects yellow, it's the nickel layer of the plating process and will corrode very quickly!

@workplaytv they will pit any repair on you or the operator. Im not saying you will be paying often, but when you do it's going to hurt more than the old trucks. If you got the Cummins X12(X15 isn't great either) make sure you watch it closely. CUMMINS HAS NO COMPETITION SO THEY DONT TRY to be the best. They have the market by the balls. And if you got the Paccar PX9 is a Cummins L9 the MX 11/13 are DAF motors from Europive never had good luck with them. Always on the side of the road, I've driven 7 differnt MX13s and every one has left me stuck before. I have driven 25 different X12 and one point or another I've had to rescue or be rescued every single one(this is a Governemt outfit too) currently the Cummins L9 is fleet choice(20 units) and only 2 I. The last 6 months have been flawless. Lots of issues but the Emissions are where you are going to be hurting the most. Paccar is notorious for emissions parts on back order. In early 2019 the only paccar in the fleet was down 6 months for 2 parts. The 13 letter shit spreaders(15 in the fleet) had no parts issues and few breakdowns. I'm not a fan of Paccar(clearly), and I'm even less a fan of a Cummapart. N14 was the last good motor.
@workplaytv4 күн бұрын
@ well I never wants a truck with emissions but I guess I don’t have a choice. What about the Detroit d12?
