Hi Colin. Great question. No, not for this. For us the boat is all about fishing so given its only a small boat the bimini would just get in the way. So we use plenty of sunscreen and cover up as best we can to protect ourselves 👍

miss yu both. always recommending yu to all campervanners i chit chat with for great shopping choice tests & sites with oar without showers. i will never be able to thank yu enough for taking me back to eliza frasers. glad to see your hubby is lookin well. all recovered i hopi. do not forget 2 nights with washing machine if ever bak in the wild west. i think all yu wood have to do is like a comment & i wood receive an email....chq them twice a week. merry xmas. I notice some Porta Botes the transom folds in some it comes out. Which is better? Cheers Steve.

That's correct Steve. The Alpha Series is from 2012 and they come with the transom built in. Prior to 2012 they were the Genisis series and they are separate. I'd highly recommend to get the newer type Alpha series Porta Bote. So much easier setting up and no reported leaks that I'm aware of Kev

Better than an inflatable boat. Crocks can't chew on a Porta boat like they can on a Rib.
