Still driving my Max, 1996 White on Beige. 216,000 original miles. Was purchased back in '96 by my girlfriend's dad Ichibei, first thing he did was slap some enkei rs6's on it which are still on there to this day. It was the GXE, entry level automatic, but with the GLE package with the power seats and what not. He eventually gave it to my girlfriend when she started college in 2004, it became her first car, and only car all the way up until 2020, when she finally parted ways with it and got a new Honda, giving me the Maxima. I've been wrenching on it for the past two years now fixing the suspension and other worn out components, replaced the valve cover gaskets, radiator and thermostat, nearly every hose, essentially every vacuum line. Plenty of other smaller repairs and honestly learned a lot about cars along the way. Great car, the 4th gen is basically indestructible. Most of the examples I see at the Pick-n-Pull have over 300k miles on them.

“And they don’t stock anything for 80’s Mercedes, so we’re just going to put the old ones back on.” I laughed so hard I was crying. Amazing delivery!

dam that German guy was smart he put a cheep generic inline fuel filter on before the expensive hard to get one that the car requires to run so it lasts longer , Hovie and Ed were so clueless they did not realize it
@willbachman93123 жыл бұрын
Seriously though when he put that dirty filter back on without running it clean with new diesel I cringed hard Ida atleast replaced the inline and ruined a gallon of good diesel trying to help it as much as I could

My B5 S4 Avant has now done 286k miles and in 17 years of ownership it has never let me down. Thats because it is totally stock in the engine department and gets driven with respect. The trade off when chasing power performance gains is reliability, and as many S4 B5 owners modify their cars this unfortunately taints these fabulous cars with reliability issues.

The best part about Tyler imitating Chris Fix? We don’t have to look at his face!! Also anyone notice his romantic car experience was conspicuous by its absence.

Thought this was good to watch right before bed, expected to fall asleep after a short while since I was dead tired. Didn't anticipate the hilarious Chrisfix bit by Hoovie. Impossible to sleep now, thanks!
