My ocd ass is triggered by the state of that shed.. all those lose wires/chargers/plugs and what not. Spend a day in there to get it nice and keep it nice and it'll be so much better to work in. There's even a router just laying on the table.. mount that stuff up high!

Congratulations on your wedding. So I've learned to weld with my dad when I was 7 and been a welder ever since and I'm 51 years old now and I manage a fabrication shop today, but when my dad was still alive and working I use to work with him on farm equipment all the time and we have had to weld many fuel tanks up in the past and we have learned that diesel tanks are not to bad to weld, we usually just rinse out with water and dawn soap and weld it up, now on gasoline tanks you do the same thing with water and soap and we always done it twice and then we would fill the tank with water and turn the tank to where the water would not be in the area of the weld needed so there would be a small area of space to weld so the water wouldn't mess with welding process and we would test the open area to make sure no fumes would be left behind to ignite. We learned the hard way the very first time we welded on our first gasoline tank and we started taking the extra steps to weld the tanks😆 I watch all your videos and a lot of times when I see you guys doing repairs brings back a lot of memories of me and my dad working on a piece of farm equipment for someone. Just fill with diesel and weld it. That’s what dad did and I’m here to confirm it didn’t burn up. 😂

Wow, just spend $40 and rent a t co2 tank. Run a hydraulic hose into the tank. Slowly open valve and let it runout while you eat lunch. Drop the oxygen down to 4% or less. Leave co2 on and start welding or torching. It is about the fire triangle. Remove one section and no explosion. $40 for your life well considering you have a oxygen meter as well.

Boy you ain't joking several years ago dad took off in winter and left me alone I got up at 4 to start chores and walked past our grain bins one bin 30000 bushels of corn that smelled boy I got that sick feeling new something was not right opened. Up the bin turned fans on and steamed flew out the top I spent 2 days by myself coreing the center out my our lesson learned our lesson big time we feed all our grain and sure didn't have the money to buy that much corn we batched dry our corn and never thought we would have had that problem bins have been cored out every year since

When welding on a fuel tank; drain it and put some dry ice inside the take. Dry ice is CO2; which chocks the oxygen of a fire. Let the dry ice melt and refill with fuel.

Sorry about that. Hopefully after the repair work it will be ok and work fine for you. Beautiful truck otherwise. Loader tractor needs some repairs. Nothing wrong with that.
