Super cute house and a great bargain @ $35G. I get the impression that this house was built in the late 1920s as a bungalow. Reminds me a lot of the kit houses Sears Roebuck sold in their early catalogs. To me the fireplaces make those two rooms and I would likely strip the paint from them and see what colors the tile is underneath. Nice job!

That push button light switch is factory original when the house was built. First sign it has knob and tube wiring. second sign was the 2 prong plugs (no ground). here in Canada, insurance company's make us remove all non grounded wiring.

That "bedroom" on the ground floor next to the bathroom could be used as a home office, so many folks looking for home offices these days. I'd keep and refurbish the fireplaces, but thats me, I love fireplaces. And why can't your pour a concrete floor and keep the garage as a garage, unless there isn't an alley or access road for a car? Someone looking for a nice home could make that place really special, even at $100k it's a good deal.

omg, this house got so much potential! I'd have the living room right where you get into the house, behind it would be the dining room, keep both fireplaces and make them pretty again. maybe it would be possible to put in different windows in that narrow room next to the bathroom? to make it a conservatory with nice seating and full of plants. in the bathroom I'd replace the tub with a walk-in shower. replace the kitchen, put in an island, some bar stools, make it all pretty. the pantry is amazing! and I'd make the room with the accent wall next to the kitchen into a bedroom or possible office space. reclaim the garage as a garage. looks like it could easily fit 2 smaller cars if you remove all the junk. and I didn't see a space for the washer and dryer, so maybe it could be somewhere in the basement.. sometimes I wish I could just show you a drawing of what I would do with a place. :D Not much to do on the second floor except the bathroom :O the installation is horrifying and it's missing a shower as well. would replace the plumbing, put in a new bathtub and install a nice shower next to it. those bedrooms look amazing and I love the layout of the house! on the outside you'd have to make a path to the garage and I love the porch!! it's really lovely and a nice place to make it a very special and amazing home for someone. I really wish we had houses like this where I live. thx for the video and much love to your lovely ladies.

Great potential! I'd keep all the rooms as they are. It looks like that back area used to be a porch of some type. They pushed the back out and added the bath (meh). That light switch doesn't plug into anything - it just lights up the actual switch.

You should check in court you my have historical house and if so the state will pay you to fix it up to keep it all the way it was, landmark house and land. At least my state does. If you buy a house 50 to 100 years old it’s Historical landmark and it’s grandfathered in

Personally if this was my place I would leave a lot of the original details, fireplaces would trim, ect. It appears the primary entrance and driveway is at the lower level back, maybe spend some money on the basement space to make it more inviting and safe for the owners. You could technically make that a garage again, but it wouldn't be worth it, so make that the entrance. Normally when you see the old push button light switches, immediately think knob and tube os rewire. They are still available but obviously completely new design and safe. That switch you thought was a, bluetooth light switch, that's a night light.

The tub the upstairs is too close to the toilet that whole structure needs changing and I would keep the living room get rid of one of the fireplace and open it up towards the kitchen and get rid of the bedroom downstairs just get rid of it completely

That Bluetooth switch doesn't turn on the light. That bluetooth switch IS the light- its not bluetooth at all. It's LED and its out of batteries. The actual switch beams out buckets of light into the room.
