My girlfriend of 7 years took me back after an initial breakup 5 months ago. I’m concerned there is no going back at this point. The relationship ended again because I didn’t sign a lease where she lives within a 4 day period. I had no car, she had no car, and I even offered to come back out and look again. Hi guys, I hope you can see this. I was really inspired by your story and it’s given me some hope for my future. Almost 2 years ago I met my ex-girlfriend while she was in a relationship and we had the most amazing connection and instantly became best friends. Over time we fell for each other and she came out of her relationship and then after a few months started dating me. I can’t understate just how pure it was, she is without a shadow of a doubt my soulmate and I always believed that. As you have to sort houses out early, we lived together in a house of 8 last year which proposed some obvious challenges and we’re living together in a flat of 6 this year. However, she has been suffering greatly from depression, particularly recently. After months of not really communicating properly and very little affection, she broke up with me two days ago as she couldn’t take the pressure and guilt of not treating me how I deserved when I treated her so well. I’m absolutely lost and heartbroken as I love her and I know I always will, but I also believe she loves me. I’m hoping that she can fight whatever it is and if it’s meant to be it’ll be. I’ll continue to support her as a friend when we return to uni but for now we’re not speaking. I wondered if you had any advice on how to support her without overwhelming her and how to make living together and being in the same society etc. a positive experience despite the pain that im feeling. Thanks :) For me it was nice and good to see, how everthing turned out with you two and also with Luca (no secrets and stuf like that), since my boyfriend just broke up two days ago, which was and is very hard for me. Even though I knew that it didn't work for him anymore (not enough feelings... and he didn't play with me nor my feelings), it was just the worst moment in my life when we were talking via video call and he told me that is doesn't feel right for him anymore... I'm on my semester abroud, so we couldn't meet face to face, but will meet after I come back to talk about everything. But still I always feel like all relationships in my surrounding work out a lot better than me do/did... happy to hear, that I'm not the only person.

Hey Blumen and Liza, yes you are correct, I have a candida fungal overgrowth and small intestine bacterial overgrowth that has infected my gut and digestive system and also spread to other areas of the body. It is quite a common problem but often goes misdiagnosed or mistaken for something else. Started after a heavy bout of antibiotics, when I was 16 years old! Got worse and worse and only just discovered what it is. If you guys are interested I will do videos about it and how to cure or prevent it (But im still on that journey at the moment)! Sorry to hear about your hard time right now, especially without being able to see each other to talk, that makes it much worse :-( wish you all the best, Thomas

First of all I think we all have to say thank you to both of you for your telling your real story. I broke up with my ex boyfriend a few weeks ago and it´s still so hard. He was my first relationship and I loved him realy so much. Now he´s fighting for me and sends me always textmessages, although my decission is clearly and in my eyes there is no way back. But it´s so hard to me to break up the contact, a little part of me is still hoping that he sends me textmessages... do you have some tipps?

Hey Linda, thank you for listening! Means a lot to us that we can share our private personal story so that you can know us better :-). Sorry to hear about your breakup, it is still very fresh and must be very hard for you. It's good that you see it clearly in your decision and you should first thank yourself for being brave and sharing how you feel and ending the relationship, that takes real courage! It sounds to me you're in the process of letting go which is the hardest part of the breakup, and it can take a while. One thing that you eventually realise is that keeping messaging will interfere with that process, and make it much harder. If you really are clear, then I would suggest to cut the contact. Otherwise him messaging you is making you feel "better" but really it is part of you that isn't letting go, keeping his hopes up and things like this. Sara and I did a video talking about breakups and giving some personal tips about how to get through this hard time. Stay tuned and hope you will feel better soon! Thomas

Hey Andrea, Yes, I was feeling so schießa, depressed, and didn't know why. My mind tried to figure out what was wrong and all i could think of is that I made the wrong decision to commit to Sara and see her in Germany. I didn't know at the time that I only felt that way because of the candida overgrowth and SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth). To sum it up, the gut is directly linked to your brain, and can have a huge impact on your mood and mental state. I will do a video about it! Not too private, I will speak to Sara maybe we can do a video about this time. Thomas

I quite don't understand how both of you always act so far beyond any problems and talk loads about spirituality and things like that if these social skills are lacking. I don’t think you really understood the video. Having serious gut problems and depression isn’t a sign of immaturity 😅 I think one of the most important social skills are to not judge people and this is unfortunately exactly what you are doing. All the best for you
