Hey brother. Im a c6 c7 quad who kinda has been in your spot. It was almost 4 years after the accident when my chick split. But i lost everything because of drugs. House and all. I had to go to a nursing home an was stuck there 8 years. But in 2020 I became fully independent after 13 years of being paralyzed i finally put my big boy pants on and decided i was gonna be fully independent no matter what. I Shawshank Redemptioning that place. So i'm glad to say ive been in my apartment since July and im the happiest and healthiest ive ever been since being paralyzed. I think if i can do it you can too. Im praying for you. Life rolls on, and jesus loves you.

Hello Zach, yes like everybody else I'm sorry to see this happen I really am I am also disabled this has happened to me before so you're not the only one, but you're still young always have that positive attitude and smile there's a lot of people out there in this world you will find the right person you have the right attitude and you're going to school and that's one really good thing for you! This virus thing is getting so old I still haven't been able to get a shot yet I will feel so much better once I do! For me my number one objective is to get back into the gym and be able to do something with myself! Sorry to hear about the breakup. I'm a transman and I've seen my fellow transmen friends go through various gender affirming surgeries and it's not uncommon for their girlfriends or wives break up with them after the surgeries are done or sometime during the process. I think maybe the women get burned out on being a caretaker and having to manage medical aspects of the surgical journey. But these couples tend to be young, so I think that's part of it. As people get older, they learn more about themselves and what they can realistically give to a relationship. You'll find another girlfriend, hang in there.
