1, use the Roof part to create ramps away from your top story to get to higher parts of the island as these only need wood rather than supports and floor which needs nails. 2. place floor in front of your nets to protect them from the shark 3. If you get stuck for inventory space and want to chuck things off but still keep them throw them off the front of your raft and they will ge caught in your nets 4. When you start going for the radar mark use your paddle to move horizontally until the blip is directly in front of you and then use the sail to speed towards it. This save battery power in the long run. Fish for your life as you will want two to three shark bait by the time you get there, 5. Right click your paint brush to get different shades, this will tell you the amounts of dyes you need to make that colour. You can put different flowers into the paint mill at the same time they will still only make the primary colours (red,blue,yellow, black and white). The brush determines the shade.

Also just to add to this. 6. Cook your fish, not the ones you use for bait, its one of the best food in the game it restores the most hunger.

If you are stuck for storage space, get rid of some unnecessary items, such as flower seeds, when will you ever use flower seeds?! Also get some more food farms going, you've seen how good the mango/watermelon is, why not use the seeds you have to grow more?

use up your plastic hook, its one more inventory spot. you only need one metal hook, one hammer, one axe, and one of each fishing rod if u wanna keep getting fish for shark bait and big fish to eat. get rid of the grill and purifier on the base cuz its just taking up space or move them onto the 2nd floor. try getting a tree farm going and have a tree growing at all times, whens its done, chop it down and plant another one more nets for catching everything in the water you know this already, just a friendly reminder lol

Great work josh 👍. What a series! Some advice: 1. Put floors in front of ur collection nets to protect them better 2. Add another smelter would speed up a lot of stuff 3. Make lights or lanterns would really help us see at night. Don’t think it’s too hard! 4. Organise your inventory better 5. Destroy stuff u don’t need like ur small purifier or cooking grill 6. If u want u can add walls to make ur raft look better and more like a house

I’m so happy another raft video. Also 1 tip is that you should make a giant line of nets at the front but at the front have normal foundation then water behind then net then it’s protected from the shark. Keep up the good work

Also, Josh you can attack the shark with your spear in the water (if i'm correct the shark makes a noise just before it attacks) and if you time it right then the shark will swim away without attacking you again.

Move a storage box up to the grill and keep all the food in it and then you'll have a constant supply of cooked food. And also keep growing everything (potatoes, beets, watermelons,mangos and trees etc)

You can fill the cup with salt water from the second story. You do not need to waste time going up and down the stairs to refill the solar water purification system. Also creating a plastic bottle will increase the amount of salt or fresh water you can carry at once meaning you can drink quicker and refill water purification system quicker. Like so Josh can see it.

TIP: When your going to dive, instead of making one shark bait make at least 4+ . This will give more then enough time to thoroughly loot a section of the island.

A good tip, Make wooden foundations around your collection nets to protect them. You can actually walk and run over them so you don't have to worry falling through them if you decide to expand the base on the oposite side of the collection-nets

I just bought Raft two days ago and have found out a few things. 1. Birds lay eggs in their nest if it has had peace to be there for a longer period of time. 2. You can use your hook (in a very strange way). It must throw up on the island so it looks like it's glitch in through the island and then jump along the island's side. - Does not work if you are in the water or if your raft is too far away from the island. Hope it helps a little

Another tip. make tables. Each table can have a few large chest on top of it an one underneath. Which make storage more organized and use less floor space. And you can fit a small chest inner the barbecue. Is nice for storing fish etc.

Josh, you should try and make another smeltor. Move your research table on the top floor so you have space to move around. Bring your water purifier down so it's easier to pour water in instead of running up and down. Maybe try painting the same floor with different shades of the same colour. Like on the outsides of the floor it's dark yellow then as you move towards the center of the floor it's light yellow. Just an idea I think that will make your raft look sick. You had a brand new axe the whole time! You have loads of new and old tools lying around, sort it out. Surprisingly, placing the collecting nets in every other spot works perfectly well. Plastic bottle acts as a cup ... but better. Why don't you just make another smelter? And make your raft wider. PS. You can place different coloured flowers in the paint mill at the same time.

When trying to dive for copper you can stab the shark & it will leave you for a bit longer but you have to time the stab with the spear perfect or else it won't work!
