True. I mean, this graphics card itself had DDR2 Ram, while the basic RAM of the PC is DDR3. If the integrated GPU uses the regular RAM from the PC, then the theoretical memory bandwith is greater then this of GPU, meaning better theoretical performance...

Hey, when I was in school, we had Burroughs and UNISYS Icons. Those things ran lowly Intel 80186 CPUs, had CGA graphics (4 colours) and used some weird version of UNIX called "QNX". Hot damn, did they suck! I had already mastered MS-DOS and the schools were throwing this crap at me? UGH!

A while back I built a "decent" system from new egg for around 400 bucks. I wouldn't call it great, but it worked. And it was a good starting point that I upgraded as I went. As you guys have proven many times before, if you are trying to build something on the cheap used is normally the best way to go. Or I think most people that like to tinker are like me and have a lot of spare parts around they can use. So you are not always buying a complete system right off the start. I normally have a power supply, drives and video cards laying around I can use to get a system up and running until I can afford something better to swap out. If you are starting with nothing it makes things quite a bit more difficult.
