Just put good pull on the front end of the VN & you could restore it, provided it’s not a statutory write-off . They’re getting more rare every year...

Yep they are getting scarce now that's for sure. Thanks for watching our channel.

I would update to a VT Master cylinder and booster with vt twin piston front brakes as the VP has the 'flares' that match VP - VT, if you use the VN metal lines and rubber lines you would need to run brake line adaptors on the master cylinder and brake calipers!
@ClunieGarage Жыл бұрын
Thanks mate. We are actually upgrading to Harrop four piston front brakes. Do you know if the 1 inch master cylinder will be up to the task or should we bite the bullet and go the VT path?
@Low760 Жыл бұрын
@@ClunieGarageif they are VT Harrop hsv calipers I'd say VT.

Hey mate, I don’t suppose it has the drivers side hockey trim?? I’ve been missing mine for years and can’t find one anywhere…. 🙏🏼

Gday mate, what piece is that exactly? I can take a photo inside on the drivers side if that works and send through to you?

It’s the rear external lower window trim of the drivers side rear quarter window.

I hope you're fitting a new master cylinder and not using a clapped out old one! Same as the booster. Just not worth the risk on a race car.

Up against the EA falcon 🤣 the VN supercar smashed those rust buckets ford spent 100million developing door handles and forgot about the rest. The EA was quickly axed because its reputation as a shit box was quickly known among the blue blooded loyal Dick Johnson lovers. The ford community were sick of braking down on the road side watching VN s1's piloted by Granny's smoking out nearby intersections with epic accidental single wheeler peelers without even trying to cut sick. The mang was out of the bag nothing was this fast & reliable in stock form before it. Especially not anything v6 powered. The VN v6 was a favourite getaway car chosen as #1 pick by the most successful armed robbery professionals. Enough boot space for 3 hostages or a load of cash and Enough power / economy to get away with 5 armed gun man wearing balaclavas comfortably At high speed. It was a mangs best friend even if he had no keys.
