I've noticed that for the most part, crowds at big festivals like this absolutly blow. Like I saw a Big 4 video while Slayer was playing, and there wasn't even a mosh pit at all. No headbangers, no moshing, no crowd surfing, not even any fists in the air! I don't know why those people get to see bands like these. I've been begging NOFX to come to Albuquerque for a few months because I want to see them so bad, and these people are just standing there!

Yeah, I also got 'more punk than thou' as soon as my nuts dropped a little and the internet showed up. Then I grew up some more, got over myself, and rediscovered bands like NOFX who made me who I am today. If you don't get over that attitude I guarantee that one day you'll have the misfortune to grow out of punk.
