I enjoy your videos so much. I have been off the water for almost a year because of hospital stay and a year of antibiotics. I have to fish of my dock to avoid the sunlight. I don’t catch as many fish but I am fishing. One more month and will be done with the antibiotics for good I can’t wait to get my boat out on the water. Had my motor serviced and got a new fish locater. You have helped me cope with not being able to fish out of my boat. Thank you for having the best fishing channel on KZbin. Keep those videos coming .

@@CaptCollieryea they are ok...there was another boat that watched the whole thing and posted a video of it on tiktok making fun of it. They sold them a bilge pump for $300 but wouldnt try to tow them just enough to get the boat on top so the pump would work. Lost everything

Super school of Mahis. Once I was on a large bunch of chickens. We saw something under them and put a large dead bait down about 60 feet. Turned out to be a Big wahoo. didn't catch him, the snap swivel failed, but it was sure exciting for 5 minutes.

Love your videos. I am fishing offshore in a see doo fish pro, so in limited to my range. I have ventured out to 20 miles off shore. Do you have any tips on catching keeper size trigger fish? I catch plenty of short trigger and for the most part catch snapper. How do you pick spots for trigger or weed through all the endangered red snapper? Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.
@CaptCollier8 ай бұрын
Thanks! Pretty much all of our reefs have trigger on them, I tend to target the taller structures in 90-110ft more for triggerfish. I never go to the bottom, I’d stop about 10-15ft off the bottom with a fresh piece of squid. It’s inevitable you’re gonna catch snapper but if that’s all your catching I’d move on to the next spot. Eventually you’ll find a spot that has more trigger than snapper on it.
