Saka didn’t get the ball. He had to take a free kick, which was our second-best chance. Martinelli should have at least got the ball on target, and people would expect a goal from that position, especially. It’s obvious that Arteta told Saka to take it easy, especially after he had to come off early in the last game due to a bad cramp. Even now, taking Saka off early was to preserve him for the City game. With Odegaard gone, Saka is going to have to go past his limit when it comes to getting the ball and attacking.

Today’s game against Atalanta was probably one of the most boring Arsenal have played so far. While the defense was solid, the attack was a disaster. I’m not sure how Arteta plans to fix the offensive side so the team can start scoring more goals. Where’s the Arsenal from two seasons ago, scoring more than two goals per game? This season’s team seems too laid back and lacking that punch to get goals. Again, the defense is good, which is important, but if we’re not scoring, criticism from the fans will start to roll in. Atalanta is a solid team, but they’re not better than Arsenal. Yet, we gave them too many chances, and now they can walk away feeling good about their performance, which isn’t acceptable. Yes, we don’t want to concede, but we also need to focus on finding the back of the net. Saka’s performance was off today, likely due to his injury from last weekend, but I believe he’ll recover in time for the next game against Man City. It’s also clear the team misses Martin Ødegaard, and Rice didn’t have the best game either. Arteta has some work to do to make the necessary changes. Shoutout to Raya for saving the day, and Calafiori and Trossard for making some impact in the second half. With a big game against mighty Man City coming up, we’ll need all the luck and the best performance possible. It won’t be easy, but I think we can scramble for a draw, which would be a good result for Arsenal. Good luck to the team!

Aint it so coincidental? We were welll known for being poor in defence and that hindered us for so long. Now (this match only so far) our defence is perfect, but going forwards were lacking which is something we have never really struggled with lol Honestly tho, i think martinelli has to sit out for a couple games and let trossard or sterling have a chance, because the left side was poor last night, kayo was also strangely quiet on his side also and then as usual, Jesus just had no options. I think both sides cared mainly about breaching of defence and so lack going forwards.
