Recyclying the scaffold bamboo for the raised planter beds, great... Like many countries, in the Philipines you try not to let anything go to waste, especially in the rural areas. As they say "when it rains, it pours" and you did recieve a heavy rain. Be safe, stay safe and travel safe. 👍🔨😎

I hope your place will stay safe of damage. Friends of mine have a house in Bato and they had 50cm water inside. I also saw a video about a flooded road in Alta Vista and guess what ... I saw my own car driving through the water! Must be my ex-brother-in-law.

I hope Ormoc city didn't get clobbered like Bato & Hilongos did. I'm still stuck up a mountain because of several landslides. I think this "storm" is worse than typhoon Odette last December. From memory your house near Kanaga is on high ground. God bless you & all your relatives.

It's been quite bad here in terms of the amount of rain but we are ok my friend. It was very similar to Odette except much weaker wind... although it still had it's moments. We hope it's ok there soon and everyone is safe. Take care and God bless you 😊

You have given me a fantastic idea 💡 after I finished the house the bamboo all use it for making a swing Cher. seat's and table's as well as cutting them and putting them in the ground for planning seets. I return back to the Philippines next may June. The house is 80 square ⛶ metres all round big house or should I say hotel lol 😂 and the garden it's groing well lots of vegetables your downing a fantastic job on your garden you all take care God's blessings 🙏🤌💖dearest friend

We bought some grow bags. They let water drain out slowly and hold lots of weight. Easy to separate different plants and move if needed 😊

If things don't changed the inflations in the USA, shortage of diesel fuel life is getting worse here. I think what you're doing will definitely make a big difference and you'll be able to survive during the tough days ahead. In just closed to 2 years our food and gasoline prices almost doubled.

We never said we were buying the xpander my friend. We were looking and still are but considering all options. To buy the xpander we would prefer to sell our car first. With the house work going on and weather it's been put on hold for now. We are still looking and will update soon 😊
