This is definitely my favourite series at the moment! How about CelesTeal City? It may be a bit far fetched, but Celestial Mechanics are the specialized areas of astrology that describes the gravitational effects of heavenly bodies as well as their motion, such as he MOON!

Biffa, please remove the Stop signs on the Roundabout. Especially on the entrance to the Industrial space. You already found out the hard way, in the other vanilla series, that these things arent a substitution for Give Way signs and that they really mess with the traffic flow, which is why your Traffic is so bogged down. BTW, as you have PLEENTY of Oil, the Oil Energy making thingy is a viable Option, as there is no Atmosphere to destroy anyway

I think when you zoned your first IT cluster, you forgot a patch of zoning. Also please run the monorail to the oil industry, or since you already have train tracks maybe add a second one for passenger trains.

Really like this series, but I'd like to think that by the time we colonize the moon we'd be beyond dumping our sewerage in a crater. Lots of assets by Quad, Spectra, Populous and others could provide a note space age solution.

The appearance of the moon algae might be related to how the oil came to the moon as well. Unless the dinosaurs made their own rockets and travelled there, something else has to be the cause of the black gold. Also, Biffa, I might be wrong about this, but I think if you make a specialized industry district in an area without their targeted resource, the factories will make stuff out of it instead of harvesting it, i.e oil industry with no oil in their district will buy oil and make goods out of it instead of trying to pump oil up. That or it works per building, not sure.

A little headcanon I have is that the lack of oil in fantasy worlds is at least partially the reason for medieval stasis. Warcraft II is the only non-urban fantasy work I can think of that has it.

This series is so cool and creative! Suggestions: Much more Solar power Inland water treatment plants (more techy and insular, as actual space machinery would be) Terraformed looking Agriculture (crops) and Forestry industry Names: City of TranquiliTEA, TranquiliTEA City, or TranquiliTEA Base. Maybe work in names for other things and places like Voyager, Apollo, Mercury, and the names of the rocky moons of Saturn and Jupiter? :-D

Biffa, is it possible that the glitch with the freight trucks (15:30) is due to having no way for cargo to leave the city by truck? It may be that the industries DLC needs to have a path to the external road connections to properly spawn trucks. And you could always say that you're sending the cargo via road or rail to the dark side of the moon to be shipped back to earth ;) though that kind of defeats the whole point of the "no outside connections"

The crater has a water source in it so automatically drains, not realistic but also not a problem. Similarly he wont be able to drain it to get the ore underneath without a mod.

Biffa you need to put a monorail station in the middle of the New IT cluster area so ppl can get to work. Also in the sections of the city where u made the monorail cut through , u used the stations with the road so u should continue that road down through the city so your ppl have a higher density road to use instead of a dirt road

I am playing along and also run into traffic problems around the space elevator. I made the little street in front of the space elevator into a cul-de-sac, so that through-traffic is forced to take the Ovalabout and can't cut through. Then I put in lots of foot paths from the space elevator over the Ovalabout to the rest of the city and also popped in a monorail station at the cul-de-sac right next to the space elevator. The space elevator generates lots of traffic, and the less private vehicles it generates, the better.

On a lot of those assets, it appears a bit vague to me what benefit there may be for plopping it in. Unless otherwise specified, I sort of assume that the asset will increase happinees and/or land value within its area of influence.

Biffa, for some reason the trucks cannot get a path to the place it's trying to go, switch the production to the other side of the road, that's why you don't put buildings on collectors

That's not the problem. Same thing happened to me. Tried placing things closer, different roads, turning More Effective Transfer mod off, connecting to the outside world, pretty much everything. I honestly think it's a glitch with the map itself.
