The more i see Harry and Larry being sweet it makes me wonder if Blue wasn't abused or mistreated at her previous farm. When you know that Oreo and Blue are sisters and Oreo likes people and is friendly, too. Anyway, I love that you guys decided to quit fighting nature. I honestly feel like you may have to surgically castrate Mario in order to have peace. But he does throw some pretty babies. You may, also, need to have Louigi's cough looked into.

Nothing wrong having an intact buck. Most farms just provide a shelter in a separate area away from does so they aren't constantly being pregnant. Most farms breed does in fall for spring kidding. Then there's no oops kidding in the hardest part of winter when it may be nasty cold. This is experience and what you intend for your needs and for goat herd size. When you are starting out; you can network with other breeders and contact local university agricultural extensions for advice. Some use goats for landscaping clearing/control. Some breed dairy goats for milk Some raise meat breeds . It just takes planning and some know-how so you don't become overwhelmed with unintended issues that arise.

I’m so glad you got the equipment to keep your land neat and opened up so you can see around the property. That’s a big deal! Now, as to the goatlets: they’re all precious and make us want to have some baby goats for ourselves! I’m sure every one of them will have a very special place in your hearts. BUT, there will never be a more personable, happy, special baby goat that can push baby Spruce out of all our hearts!
