my father was in saigon and hanoi. he was in the French army. at the start of the Algerian revolution in 1954, he fled and joined the revolution. his war name becomes Ho Chi Minh

Went to Ho Chi Mihn in 2019 for 2 weeks. Absolutely beautiful city. Women are not fat or tattooed up. The food is great and the people are so polite. The history is so fascinating

Wow!! Been awhile since Ive seen the new face of Vietnam and Saigon. (Ho Chi Minh City) I REMEMBER THE SAIGON OF 1968 1969. I had a lot of fun there as a GI, and when staying overnight because of travel curfews. Actually Saigon was safer in '68' 69 than most US large cities. The song of the day in '68 Saigon was "Love Potion # 9"😊

Quan trọng là vệ sinh,vì Việt Nam rất là nóng đồ ăn rất dễ dàng bị hư thối thiu và sinh vi khuẩn,nước uống tiêu chuẩn quá thấp,đến đá lạnh cũng không an toàn,gần như tôi lần nào về cũng bị tiêu chảy,thập chí nhập viện về ăn uống,rất là cẩn thận rồi mà không thoát khỏi,tôi sinh ra lớn lên tại Việt Nam rời khỏi nước chỉ có hai mươi mấy năm còn thông cảm cảnh tượng này,nhưng bọn nhóc thì nghe hai chữ Việt Nam là hết vía,đứa nào đi về một lần là hết tình nghĩa với Việt Nam,những đồ ăn Việt Nam đồ uống kiểu việt nam ăn tại Mỹ hoàn toàn không có chuyện gì,mà bước về việt Nam là trúng chiêu,không ai trong gia đình thoát khỏi,con cháu tôi là không còn yêu thích gì về chuyện việt nam nữa,thật là buồn phiền vô cùng,tôi thì mong chúng nó nối tiếp về quê hương để tiếp theo truyền thống tảo mộ ông bà,bây giờ chúng nó chỉ là những quả chuối,da vàng ruột trắng,mất gốc rễ,mất linh hồn,bỏ truyền thống đi theo Kiểu Mỹ ích kỷ và không tôn trọng chính bản thân người Việt của mình quay lại thù địch với cha ông mình,sống tại Mỹ,sinh hoạt cải thiện,nhưng dần dần mất hết tình nghĩa gia đình truyền thống,trở thành một đống rác màu vàng trong tương lai.

@@ThiLanTran-xy1zv nói bậy,khách Tây ở Mỹ trước khí đi việt nam đã tiêm mấy loại thuốc rồi mới dám đến,chúng tôi lúc đầu đâu có sợ,nhưng rồi về đến Mỹ,bác sĩ căn dặn là tiêm trước khi về và tôi nhập viện,bác sĩ cũng tiêm cho cả nhà mới tránh được kiết lỵ.
