You noticed! 💌I wasn’t sure if pleated paneling should be exact to size. We have a bit of an open lip under that door and I thought the extra length can help keep out the draft. Also, the added length may give me the option to move them into another room. I believe this room has the lowest ceilings and next in height would be the largest guest room upstairs. They may work better there? I do like a bit of puddling, most especially with my thinner linen panels, it’s a romantic look, I feel. Huge hugs to you and Madge! 💕 How old is your pup?

We’re glad you agree! Thank you! She’s a bit of handful with her reactivity issues but it’s easily forgiven when she’s generally such a loving and overall good mannered pup. She brings us our slippers whenever we come home! Now she’ll bring us shoes to let us know when she wants to go out…such a treat.

Much more efficient! Had I counted the pleats beforehand, that rod would have been off…🤣 Prints on textiles are also difficult for me but these are minimal enough that I don’t feel overpowered.

I love this so much-and YES-pinch-pleat draperies are the pinnacle of mature decorating!! 😆 💜. They look like excellent quality drapes but they should send you many more panels because of the comedy routine you expertly staged to portray the best way to hang them professionally. ☺️ Why is it that hanging drapes is one of the worst tasks-I think it’s because it’s never instant gratification. You gotta get the ladder and all that measuring and counting. Ugh!! The end result is always worth it, but going antiquing and buying new pottery is funner and easier. Hahaha. Absolutely Camilla! We couldn’t be happier with the process! I asked Justin if he’d like to help me beforehand but he kindly declined. I could have avoided many fiascos! 😂 Let’s hope that the epoxy glue holds because as it turns out, the bracket on the right broke off again and it’s no longer available in stores. Will need to go brocanting for a vintage and hopefully find some more pottery along the way…
