I love them for what they represent, a more optimistic, more compassionate version of the future where we pivoted to smaller more sustainable cars rather than giving everyone a rolling fortress, stuffing an electric drivetrain into it (making it over 9,000 lbs) and calling that "green" It's the same reason I love the Geo Metro, Mitsubishi Mirage, Chevy Spark, Ford Festiva, Mitsubishi i-MiEV, Toyota Prius C... And why even though the New Beetle is my favorite production vehicle, I love the Concept 1 even more because it was an honest little economical city car whereas the production version... Was kind of bigger and heavier than it needed to be.
